So far, Replacicon seems to be working just fine on macOS 26 Tahoe, and the icons aren't even confined to the system-imposed icon shape.

You can also add custom app search paths in the Settings window of Replacicon 2.0 such as external hard drives, and Replacicon will allow you to update those icons as well.

Replacicon 2.0 is rolling out now with support for generating and setting Mac app icons with Apple Intelligence + Image Playground. Head to the Replacicon menu and Check for Updates to try it out! (You also have to be on macOS 15.2.)
