Fred Johnson was my pick and will do an incredible job for the people of Alabama. My expectation, and Fred’s goal, is to reduce power bills and ensure that Alabama’s energy infrastructure is positioned to support long-term growth, reliability, and economic opportunity for every community across the state.
I have made my appointments to the Public Service Commission.
•Ron Burgess
•Fred Johnson
•Demarcus Joiner
•Quinton Ross
I am proud to tap these four experienced leaders, and I expect them to serve with honesty and integrity. #alpolitics

We had an incredible time celebrating the Challenger Center of Northeast Alabama today.
This program provides hands-on instruction aimed at inspiring students to explore careers in STEM. We’re grateful for the impact they continue to make on the next generation of Alabamians.
Tomorrow is Election Day in the state of Alabama, and it’s important that everyone gets out to the polls. Every vote is an opportunity to help shape the direction of our communities and our state, so be sure to make a plan to vote and encourage others to do the same.
Glad this nonsense is over with - @CoachForGov is an Alabamian through and through. Thank you to the @ALGOP candidate committee for handling this quickly and transparently.
I’m excited to work with our state’s next great governor. Big things are ahead!
Fueled by historic investments and strong industry support, Alabama is rapidly building one of the nation’s premier workforce development systems.
We’re committed to ensuring students in all 67 counties have an opportunity to learn a trade and make a good living doing it.
From advanced manufacturing and healthcare to welding, agriculture, and technology, Alabama students are exploring their passions, developing real-world skills, and building futures they can be proud of.
The future of Alabama is being built in our classrooms today.
Let me fix that:
Supreme Court halts federal judicial overreach, allowing Alabama to conduct elections using its legislatively approved congressional districts.
The U.S. Supreme Court will allow Alabama to make changes to this year's elections and use Congressional district maps that a lower court said intentionally discriminates against Black voters.
Thanks to the State Legislature’s action following the Callais ruling and SCOTUS quickly applying the hand of justice, Alabama is poised to elect its Congressional Representation using a map drawn for Alabamians by Alabamians.
Full statement below:
“For over four years, the state of Alabama has been subject to lawsuit after lawsuit aimed at handing the Democrat Party undeserved seats in Congress. This effort was fueled largely by Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and a slew of organizations whose guiding values are firmly rejected by Alabamians. Despite this, they eventually found a friendly audience with a panel of federal judges who saw no issue in using their power to strip Alabama of its constitutional right to draw congressional maps and eventually issue an injunction that clearly violated new precedent set forth by the Supreme Court of the United States.
From the initial lawsuits to last month's Special Session and the court actions that followed, this has been a long fight—but one well worth fighting.”
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Congratulations to the Northeast Alabama Mustangs on winning the Softball Junior College National Championship in just their second year as a program. Thank you to these ladies for all their hard work and being such great ambassadors for our state.
52-2 in the regular season, undefeated in the NJCAA World Series, and playing for a National Championship in the program’s second year - this team is SPECIAL.
So proud of these girls, this school, and our community. Bring home the W, Mustangs!
It was an honor to be at Jacksonville State this week to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Randy Owen Center. Randy’s legacy is so much more than music - it’s service to others and giving back at every possible opportunity. Congratulations, Randy!
Another huge win for Alabama. The people of our state deserve to have their elections conducted using maps drawn by those elected to serve them in the State Legislature.
Anything else undermines the will of Alabama voters and the constitutional role of elected representatives.
I can tell you this: Alabama is not tired of winning.
I am proud to celebrate yet another victory for Alabamians and our elections. In this case, we are talking about Alabamians in State Senate Districts 25 and 26. #alpolitics
Jamie gets it — Alabama has a winning strategy for workforce development that is built around working with industry to train the next generation for in demand jobs. Students are graduating with little to no debt and stepping into high-wage careers the very next day. Other states are adopting this same approach for one simple reason: it works.
Alabama just got a national vote of confidence from the most powerful banker in America.

Three activist judges are trying to silence the voices of over 5 million Alabamians. We look forward to seeing what SCOTUS has to say about that.
Full statement below:
“Yet again, the three-judge panel has decided to force a racially gerrymandered, court-drawn Congressional Map upon the people of Alabama.
As disappointing as this decision is, it is ultimately unsurprising given their long track record of siding with liberal plaintiffs and handing Democrats congressional victories in the courtroom.
Elections should be decided by voters at the ballot box, not activist judges who believe they know better than the people they were appointed to serve.
I believe this decision is blatantly in violation of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Callais v. Louisiana and will not stand once it is presented before a higher court.
This is nothing more than a politically motivated attempt to weaponize the judicial system for partisan gain, and Alabama has every intention of taking this to the Supreme Court and fighting back.”
We live in the greatest country on Earth because generation after generation of patriots have fought to defend our freedom.
This Memorial Day, we proudly honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. God bless America. 🇺🇸
It’s hard to beat celebrating 250 years of America while listening to Randy Owen sing My Home’s in Alabama.
Randy grew up in a sharecropping family in DeKalb County & went on to become one of the biggest stars in country music history. If that’s not the American dream, I don’t know what is. 🇺🇸
Congrats to my friend and Alabama’s next great governor, @CoachForGov, on a big primary win tonight. Excited to work with you to make Alabama stronger.
