It was an honor to host the ceremony in Russell, KS officially dedicating the Robert J. Dole Memorial Post Office Building.

After Senator Dole passed away, I introduced legislation to rename this post office in his honor. Senator Dole served our country in uniform and in public office for decades, but through it all, he never forgot where he came from. His legacy of service, hard work, common sense, and love for Kansas will continue to inspire generations to come.
