After hearing from families and advocates regarding an AC outage in one of the units at Delaney Hall, our office immediately demanded answers from ICE.

ICE has claimed that while work continues to fix the broken AC unit, alternate air-conditioned spaces and portable ACs are being made available.

We are continuing to press ICE to ensure that this matter is addressed with the urgency required during this extreme heat wave and will do so until air conditioning is restored.

Today is the final day for the energy-saving credits that Republicans canceled.

These credits would have lowered utility bills and created good-paying union jobs by making buildings more energy efficient.
