Stephen Miller: “What we’ve found, since President Trump took office, is that the Democrats have set up a system to funnel hundreds of BILLIONS... ultimately TRILLIONS... to migrants that are in our country.”
These Democrats belong behind bars.
Milton Friedman: “Keep your eye on one thing and one thing only: how much government is spending, because that’s the true tax.”
“If you’re not paying for it in the form of explicit taxes, you’re paying for it indirectly in the form of inflation or borrowing.”
I remember the good old days when conservatives wanted to follow the constitution. The senate has the right to advise and consent. They don’t consent. That’s what constitutional checks and balances are all about. Move to Russia if you want an oligarchy.
First…… Senator Rick Scott stepped aside and did not take the gavel today!
@SenRickScott Thank you for stepping aside and not taking the gavel today. We noticed…… and we appreciate it.
But today’s Senate club enforcers were Deb Fischer of Nebraska and Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
Once again, Republican voters watched senators preserve meaningless pro forma sessions that keep the Senate technically “in session” for one purpose…… blocking President Trump’s recess appointments.
Republican voters did not fight to hand Republicans power just to watch Senate Republicans protect procedure, protect the institution, and slow down the America First agenda the people demanded.
The Senate is protecting itself…… from what, I honestly do not know…… because we are the people who vote for them, support them, campaign for them, and ultimately have the power to remove them.
So what force inside Washington keeps convincing Republicans to go against the very voters who put them there?
@SenatorFischer…… you betrayed the conservative movement today. Nebraska voters are watching…… and your next election is in 2030.
@ChuckGrassley …… Iowa voters are watching too. Your next election is in 2028.
We the People are paying attention!

@SpeelingBChamp@StephanieRuff3@DavidAFrench@Kasparov63 No one has voted on it yet. It hasn’t been brought to the floor of the Senate. You can only go by his public statements of support which have been consistent from the beginning.
It is exactly what voters want. I accept that. I just see it as a very sad state of affairs. If someone will cheat on their wives or openly operate in a corrupt manner, why would they be any different in office? They won’t be. So the corruption and lies in government just get worse. I expect better from leaders, but voters don’t apparently care. At least for now. But I believe this moment of populist outrage will burn itself out as it always has in the past.
@StevenTDennis@jwigderson He knows he is lying when he is saying it. That’s why he uses the very Trumpian “I have heard” or “It’s been said” type of language. This way he can say stupid stuff and then deny he ever said it.
