The Faster Clinical Trials Act will expand research efforts, facilitate treatment options, and support American patients, particularly in rural America.

[Morgan Griffith @RepMGriffith]

We're trying to bring the clinical trial to the patient instead of the model today of bringing the patient to the clinical trial.

This past weekend, I delivered Congressional remarks to celebrate Billy Wagner the baseball player, but my speech at the ceremony was stories I had heard in Southwest Virginia about how good Billy Wagner the person is. A Tazewell park has been dedicated in his honor.

[Morgan Griffith @RepMGriffith]

Billy Wagner’s legendary path to the Hall of Fame started in Southwest Virginia.

But to our region, he is more than a generational athletic talent. He is a great human being.

Thank you Dr. Oz and @HHSGov for working to protect these benefits, stop fraud and support our vulnerable populations.

[Dr. Oz CMS @DrOzCMS]

SIGNED! ✍️🇺🇸

@VP Vance’s Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud is a commonsense commitment, and I was glad to sign it.

CMS will continue working with the @WHFraudTF to protect Americans, safeguard their benefits, and save taxpayers billions of dollars.

We recognize October 10, 1774, to honor our amazing history.

Colonel Andrew Lewis led brave Western Virginians at the Battle of Point Pleasant.

Their actions opened the frontier, settlers moved west, forcing the British to cede territory to the U.S east of the Mississippi.

In my visit to Hillsville last week, I toured a local Saber Healthcare Group facility.

Thanks to the Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center for their time in discussing health issues with me.

In the aftermath of the October 7 attacks on men, women and children, I went to Israel with the U.S. Israel Education Association.

The pain and emotion from meeting survivors and hearing their stories still haunt me.

As we remember Oct. 7, support for our ally Israel remains.

[Morgan Griffith @RepMGriffith]

Earlier this year, a Utility Trailer franchise opened a new facility at Seven Mile Ford in Smyth County.

On Thursday, I toured the facility with officials to learn more about how the company supports regional jobs.
