Every penny of health care fraud takes from a vulnerable American who needs that support.

It was great to be in New Haven this morning to celebrate $675,000 in federal dollars coming to the LaRue County Water District to replace outdated pipes in the City of New Haven.
I was proud to secure this funding as part of the 2026 appropriations process and I am excited to see work begin on this project that will improve water infrastructure across the city!
The Biden-Harris Administration quit checking for Obamacare and Medicaid double-dipping for years, and now the @WHFraudTF is fixing it.
@CMSGov just canceled subsidies for 189,000 duplicate or deceased enrollees, saving taxpayers over $1.5 BILLION every single year.

We’re with you @VP!
Every penny lost to fraud is one less that can benefit Americans in need.
@HouseCommerce Republicans are taking action to stop health care fraud and protect vulnerable Americans so they can access the benefits they deserve.
Like so many Americans, I have been outraged by fraud schemes enabled by the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration.
I am proud to sign @VP's "Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud" and look forward to continuing to work alongside my @HouseCommerce colleagues to advance our legislative package to root out fraud from Medicare and Medicaid.
The @HouseGOP will continue our efforts to stop the pervasive fraud in federal health programs and protect benefits for those who need them most.
Earlier today, Team Guthrie attended the swearing-in ceremony for Butler County native Dillon Bryant as he officially became the USDA Rural Development Deputy State Director for Kentucky!
I have enjoyed working with Dillon on various issues in the past, and I am excited to continue working with him to advocate for Kentucky farmers and rural communities.
When fraudsters steal from Medicaid, they steal from the vulnerable Americans who depend on it.
That’s why @HouseCommerce released a package of bills that protect vulnerable Americans and crack down on fraud.

I enjoyed having the opportunity to tour the Robert E. Spiller Veterans Center in Bowling Green ahead of its recent ribbon-cutting. This newly opened skilled nursing facility will provide access to a variety of care to help our Kentucky veterans age gracefully. Excited to see this center support our veterans well into the future.
Three years ago today, one of America's closest allies, Israel, was attacked by Hamas terrorists, resulting in the death of nearly 1,200 innocent civilians, including infants and children, and hundreds more taken hostage.
Our hearts will forever remain with the victims’ families and individuals impacted by this tragedy.
Today, bipartisan @HouseCommerce leaders wrote to the Amateur Athletic Union concerning recent sexual abuse allegations in the organization and insufficient safety protocols.
It’s critical that policies are in place to protect young athletes from abuse and hold bad actors accountable.

I was proud to lead my colleagues in filing an amicus brief in support of the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s lawsuit to vacate the Biden-Harris Administration’s PM2.5 NAAQS finalized rule on Friday.
If implemented, this rule would devastate American manufacturing and energy, and stifle American innovation. I am hopeful the Supreme Court will grant the petitioning states a Writ of Certiorari and that the petitioning states will ultimately prevail in court.

Over 200 Democrats joined every House Republican in voting for the Ratepayer Protection Act to protect hardworking families from rising costs.
Unfortunately, Senate Democrats thought it was more important to make a political statement rather than support their constituents.

A new GAO report just uncovered government agencies disposed of high-risk laboratory equipment, exposing Americans to a severe bioterrorism threat.

.@RepGabeEvans’ and @SenJonHusted’s Ratepayer Protection Act passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support, but Senate Democrats just blocked it, leaving American families exposed to higher electricity costs.
This shouldn’t be a partisan issue, but Senate Democrats are choosing to play politics rather than protect their local communities.
Every dollar stolen from Medicare and Medicaid is a dollar taken from the seniors, children, pregnant women, and Americans with disabilities these programs were created to serve.
Today, @HouseCommerce released our 84-page report detailing the pervasive fraud in our federal programs and detailing commonsense reforms to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicaid and Medicare.

Grateful for the swift work of our Kentucky law enforcement community today.
