Price transparency will give cattle producers more leverage when trading their fat cattle in the cash market.
Our cattle producers deserve a fair, competitive marketplace, not one dominated by sweetheart deals that leave them in the dark.
I applaud @POTUS and @SecRollins for taking action to improve cash cattle market reporting and strengthen price discovery.

Great to see the Trump Administration take this historic step to clean up our Social Security records and crack down on fraud. This is exactly the kind of accountability we need to ensure taxpayer-funded benefits go to eligible Americans and protect taxpayer dollars.
BREAKING: The Social Security Administration confirms to @FoxNews that it has just undertaken its largest cleanup of Social Security Numbers in the agency's 91-year history, correcting nearly 15% of all U.S. citizen SSNs (roughly 50 million out of 330 million). The changes include:
- Adding 17 million dates of death to files that previously didn't have them w/ help from State Dept.
- With help from DHS, updating 25 million files that had missing citizenship information.
- Correcting an additional 8.5 million records with inaccurate citizenship data.
SSNs are referenced by agencies across the federal government and in states to validate identities and prevent improper payment of tax dollars.
SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION STATEMENT TO FOX:
Democrats are doubling down on a two-tiered system of justice. Senator Slotkin said the quiet part out loud: she's using the threat of prosecution to scare young Americans out of public service in the Trump administration.
We saw what happened under Biden when Democrats weaponized the government against political rivals. Just as it was then, this abuse of power is completely unacceptable and un-American.
Our tax code should empower families to pursue the American dream and invest in the next generation.
That’s why Republicans delivered tax relief for parents like Angelina Banks through the Working Families Tax Cuts, helping ease the financial cost of raising a family.
And the Trump Administration does it again 👏🏻
This fraud crackdown is saving taxpayers nearly half a BILLION dollars and putting a STOP to these fraud schemes that are robbing Americans.
The Ways and Means Committee will continue to work with the IRS and Department of Justice to root out bad actors who take advantage of our tax code.
“The Fraud Division is resolved to protect American taxpayers from criminal actors on every frontier of fraud, including tax fraudsters seeking to steal the wealth of America,” said @AAGMcDonald. “Over six weeks, the Fraud Division’s Tax Section, 35 U.S. Attorneys' Offices, and IRS Criminal Investigation took action against over 70 defendants who sought more than $490 million from the Treasury. Today’s results send a clear message to fraudsters: those who intentionally lie to steal the money of the American people should expect to answer for their conduct in federal court.”
Once again, the facts expose the fraud Democrats deny is happening — and have failed to stop.
While Democrats turn a blind eye, Republicans are fighting to recover stolen taxpayer dollars and protect the programs Americans depend on. Cracking down on fraud protects vulnerable Americans and ALL Americans by restoring the integrity of taxpayer dollars.
.@SecKennedy: "In 2026, CMS identified 189,000 subsidized enrollments involving duplicate Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP coverage. On records showing enrolles had died, CMS acted to remove improper subsidies in all of these cases. CMS estimates that this work will prevent $738M in improper subsidy payments this year alone. At an annualized rate, this savings exceeds $1.5B."
This past week, the Ways and Means Committee traveled out to Tennessee to meet Americans where they’re at.
Over a year since it was signed into law, the Working Families Tax Cuts is delivering tax certainty for producers, like Wade Thomson, to invest in their businesses and grow.
On National Farmer’s Day, we recognize the men and women whose dedication and hard work are the backbone of this country.
I’ve always said I’ll put the American farmer up against anyone. When faced with adversity, there’s no group of people I’d rather bet on. Their grit, determination, and resilience are second to none.
I’m proud to represent Missouri’s agricultural community and will always fight to ensure our farmers have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
Thank you to all of our farmers for everything you do!
Missouri farmers are seeing real results from the One Big Beautiful Bill!
Thanks to the strengthened farm safety net we delivered, Missouri farmers will receive $493 million in ARC/PLC payments for the 2025 crop year — $133 million MORE than they would have received without that transformative legislation.
That’s real relief for the hardworking farmers who feed and fuel our nation.
Through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act (H.R. 1), we are strengthening the farm safety net by increasing Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage payments nationwide. This delivers nearly $4B more for farmers, bringing total payments to $13.4B 💪

In the Working Families Tax Cuts, Republicans created Trump Accounts, which are a transformational investment for American families.
This investment will set the next generation up for greater financial success and a brighter future.

3 years ago today, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, kidnapping, killing, and torturing thousands of innocent Jewish people.
May we never forget the victims of this heinous violence and pray for a world eradicated of antisemitism.
Today, the @WaysandMeansGOP Committee held a field hearing in Collierville, Tennessee.
This hearing gave us the opportunity to hear directly from witnesses about the pro-growth and pro-employee benefits of One Big Beautiful Bill.
I am grateful to @RepJasonSmith and Orgill for helping bring the Committee to West Tennessee.
Mike Miller, the owner of Patrick’s Restaurant & Bar, knows that investing in employees is one of the best investments a small business can make — more than 10% of his staff have been with him for over 20 years.
Making the Small Business Tax Deduction permanent gives Main Street employers the certainty to keep investing in their workers, retain experienced employees, and grow their businesses.
Today, we’re in Memphis hearing directly from West Tennessee workers, families, and small businesses about how the Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering tax relief in their communities.
The empty seats on the other side of the dais speak for themselves. Not one Democrat member joined us today. They continue to ignore the needs of these communities even after they voted against the tax relief these working families are benefiting from.
Today, the Ways and Means Committee is at the Orgill Innovation Center in Memphis, Tennessee to hear from working families and job creators, the same people who helped us craft the Working Families Tax Cuts.
Over 1 year later, Americans are seeing the benefits of pro-growth, pro-worker tax policy, and today, we’ll hear their stories.
I applaud President Trump’s executive order today to provide immediate relief by deferring the excise tax for on-road use of dyed diesel until the end of the year. This is a much-needed step to lessen the burden that increased fuel prices have had on farmers, ranchers, and the entire agricultural community.
This executive order is only a first step — it is crucial to provide lasting relief for the hardworking Americans who feed, fuel, and clothe our nation.
What a win for Mizzou! Coach Drinkwitz has built more than a winning football program in Columbia — he’s built a program that elevates our university and our entire state.
Every time Mizzou takes the field on the national stage, they’re showing the country what Missouri is all about. Proud of this team, proud of Coach Drink, proud of my alma mater, and proud of the Show-Me State. MIZ!
In the Working Families Tax Cuts, President Trump and Republicans expanded educational opportunities for American families by creating the Education Freedom Tax Credit.
This new credit will give working families access to more choices, more resources, and the freedom to choose the education that best fits their children's needs.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service issued proposed regulations to implement the new Federal Scholarship Tax Credit under section 25F, commonly known as the Education Freedom Tax Credit, the first federal tax credit supporting private contributions for K-12 scholarships.
Under the proposed regulations, eligible taxpayers may claim an annual credit of up to $1,700 for qualifying contributions, or up to $3,400 for married couples filing jointly. Treasury and the IRS also issued companion temporary regulations to establish key procedures for states and Scholarship Granting Organizations to prepare for the launch of the tax credit on January 1, 2027.
The proposed regulations advance the Administration’s priorities of expanding educational freedom, restoring parental rights, returning power to the states, and putting American students first.

Missouri farmers and ranchers work every day to feed and fuel our country, and we should be doing everything we can to help keep their input costs down.
I applaud Governor Mike Kehoe for taking action to allow producers to use dyed diesel in qualifying farm-use vehicles on Missouri highways.
This commonsense flexibility, along with increased weight limits for agricultural transportation, will provide immediate relief as producers work to get crops, livestock, feed, and other agricultural products where they need to go.
Thank you, @GovMikeKehoe, for supporting Missouri Agriculture and the hardworking farm families across rural Missouri.

I commend Senator @SteveDaines for introducing the Aligning Digital Assets with Principles of Taxation Act.
This bill has much in common with the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act, which passed out of the Ways and Means Committee on a strong bipartisan vote. There is also clear momentum building to deliver tax certainty to digital asset owners and ensure America remains the crypto capital of the world.
Digital assets have moved into the mainstream, but the tax code hasn’t kept up. My bill would create clearer rules for stablecoins, network fees, staking and lending—while extending familiar tax rules like wash sales and constructive sales to digital assets.
