The Mystic Alerts Act has officially been signed into law!

The tragedy at Camp Mystic changed countless families forever, including my own. My two granddaughters survived those devastating floods, but their cousin, Janie Hunt, tragically lost her life.

Nothing can bring back the lives lost that day, but we have a responsibility to act and I thank @POTUS for signing this important legislation into law and to my colleagues in Congress for coming together to help protect American families and prevent future tragedies.

[Rep. August Pfluger @RepPfluger]

I am grateful that President Trump signed the Mystic Alerts Act into law today. After the devastating July 4th floods, it was clear that families in rural communities can’t be left in the dark when cell networks go down. By bringing satellite technology into our emergency alert system, we’re making sure warnings reach people when they need them most.

I’m thankful to Senator @JohnCornyn for championing the Mystic Alerts Act in the Senate and to Chairman @SenTedCruz for moving it through the Senate Committee on Commerce. This law is a major step forward for emergency preparedness, and it means more Americans will get the warnings they need, no matter where they live.

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

✅ Signed into law by @POTUS

@RepPfluger’s Mystic Alerts Act strengthens lifesaving public safety communications by ensuring Americans are always able to receive emergency alerts when it matters most.

We’re helping keep all Americans safe and informed.

H.R. 7022, the "Mystic Alerts Act" which requires the Federal Communications Commission to establish any requirements necessary to allow commercial mobile service providers to transmit emergency alerts by satellite.

I’m proud that my bipartisan Critical Infrastructure Manufacturing Feasibility Act was signed into law, helping bring manufacturing back to America and create good-paying jobs for Iowans.

America cannot continue outsourcing the production of critical goods and good-paying manufacturing jobs to foreign adversaries like Communist China. We must strengthen domestic manufacturing, secure our supply chains, and ensure America can produce the essential materials our nation depends on. 🇺🇸

[Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. @RepMMM]

President Trump’s $25 million whistleblower incentive program helps hold fraudsters accountable by protecting and rewarding those who expose waste, fraud, and abuse.

My Medicaid Whistleblower Protection Act would strengthen protections for those who speak up. Whistleblowers who raise legitimate concerns should be protected, not punished for doing the right thing.

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

This investment from @POTUS and @VP directly complements @HouseCommerce's program integrity package, 'Continuing the Fight Against Fraud,' to PROTECT vulnerable Americans, critical programs, and precious taxpayer dollars.

Promises made, promises kept.

[Rapid Response 47 @RapidResponse47]

.@POTUS: Today, I'm thrilled to announce the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program. Americans will now be able to report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities via a new website — and they'll be given a commission of one percent.

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

Investing in our health care workforce is one of the most important pillars of the RHT Program.

Thank you, @POTUS, @SecKennedy and @DrOzCMS, for continuing to uplift rural America 🇺🇸

[CMSGov @CMSGov]

The Trump Administration announced $16.4 million in Rural Health Transformation Program funding to address critical healthcare workforce shortages and improve access to care. This investment will support projects ready for rapid deployment that train new healthcare workers, expand apprenticeships, and help rural communities recruit and retain skilled professionals across Maryland. As a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, I'm committed to rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse. In under a 90 day period, we took swift and decisive action against 50 high-risk Medicaid providers, halting over $203 million in potentially improper payments. This protects your tax dollars and ensures resources are spent on those who truly need it.

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

The Biden-Harris Administration quit checking for Obamacare and Medicaid double-dipping for years, and now the @WHFraudTF is fixing it.

@CMSGov just canceled subsidies for 189,000 duplicate or deceased enrollees, saving taxpayers over $1.5 BILLION every single year.

Every dollar stolen by fraudsters is a dollar taken from patients who need care.

@HouseCommerce Republicans have a package of bills to crack down on Medicaid fraud and protect vulnerable Americans. ✅

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

🚨 Hundreds of thousands of dollars were used for transporting DECEASED patients to medical appointments.

That's the kind of Medicaid fraud @HouseCommerce uncovered, and @HouseGOP is cracking down to protect taxpayer dollars.

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

Under the Biden-Harris Administration, fraud was allowed to run rampant in the programs meant to help the most vulnerable Americans.

Now, thanks to @POTUS and the @WHFraudTF, we’re putting an end to this fraud that steals from Americans in need to ensure they can access the benefits and care they deserve.

[Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. @RepMMM]

Iowa taxpayers work hard to fund programs for those who truly need them, and fraudsters should never get a dime of it. That's why I signed the Vice President's Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud.

I will always fight to stop fraud before payments go out the door, protect seniors and the vulnerable from scammers, and make sure those who cheat the system face justice. 🇺🇸

[Energy and Commerce Committee @HouseCommerce]

We’re with you @VP!

Every penny lost to fraud is one less that can benefit Americans in need.

@HouseCommerce Republicans are taking action to stop health care fraud and protect vulnerable Americans so they can access the benefits they deserve.

[JD Vance @JDVance]

Do you hate fraud?

If so, I’m calling on you to join me in taking the pledge to protect Americans from fraudsters, by doing everything in your power to ensure that:

1. Vulnerable Americans, such as the elderly, indigent, and disabled, are protected from fraudsters who seek to prey on them.

2. Taxpayer-funded programs serve law-abiding Americans, not illegal aliens or fraudsters.

3. Taxpayer-funded benefits are not used by fraudsters to buy mansions or luxury cars.

4. Public agencies and officials work tirelessly and aggressively, coordinating at all levels of government, to stop fraud before payments go out the door.

5. Fraudsters face justice for their crimes in a court of law. Convicted fraudsters will be imprisoned and barred from ever receiving another penny of taxpayer dollars.

6. Illegal alien fraudsters are promptly arrested, prosecuted, imprisoned, and deported, never able to take advantage of Americans’ generosity again.

[Buddy Carter @RepBuddyCarter]

Proud to join Vice President JD Vance in pledging to crack down on fraud, protect vulnerable Americans, and ensure taxpayer dollars go to those who truly need them.

Every dollar stolen by fraudsters is a dollar taken from the American people. It's time for accountability!

[Congressman Russell Fry @RepRussellFry]

I will always stand with @VP Vance & @POTUS in their commitment to uproot waste, fraud and abuse.

I was proud to sign the Vice President's Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud to safeguard American's tax dollars from being exploited and abused by fraudsters & illegal aliens. @WHFraudTF
