Exactly one month until weโre in Qatar covering the U17 World Cup, with Ireland kicking off their campaign against Brazil.
What an experience awaits this young Irish squad as they become one of the few European nations to reach back-to-back U17 World Cups in Doha. A huge opportunity to test themselves against the worldโs best and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Itโs going to be a special tournament for Lansdowne Roar too, as weโll be on the ground following Ireland every step of the way and bringing you all the action, reaction and stories from Qatar.
Weโre still open to partnership opportunities for our tournament coverage. If your business would like to get involved and help us bring Irish supporters closer to the action, our DMs and emails are always open. ๐ฉ
Thereโs 65 days until Christmasโฆ
I๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝd like to use the next couple of months or so to help spotlight Irish businesses of all descriptions.
In the hope that at a minimum we may be able to get more eyes on their work.

๐ฎ๐ช Wexford CBS beat England in China!
The lads have picked up their first win at the ISF World Cup in Suzhou, and it came against the country every Irish side wants to beat the most.
The result sees them finish third in their group and move on to the Shield stage.
Adam Codd opened the scoring with a superb effort, and Charlie Mullan doubled the lead shortly after to seal a 2-0 victory.
Itโs a result that means even more given the challenges the squad have faced, with injuries and suspensions mounting over a demanding few days.
Their campaign began with a 2-0 defeat to Bulgaria, in a game where the lads more than held their own for long spells.
Next came a tough test against a strong Thailand side. Aaron OโLeary and Darragh Buttle both found the net, but two red cards left the team short and they went down 5-2.
To bounce back and beat England says plenty about the character within this group.
It hasnโt all been about football either. The squad took part in the Opening Ceremony and also enjoyed a visit to a local high school, where they were warmly welcomed by their hosts ๐ฎ๐ช๐จ๐ณ
The families who travelled out deserve a mention too for their support throughout the trip ๐
Next up for Wexford CBS is a Shield clash with Nepal tomorrow โฝ

Garbhan Coughlan. 33. Ex-Limerick FC and Athlone Town.
44 goals in 2026 for Cashmere Tech in New Zealand. Over 300 since moving out there in 2017 ๐คฏ
"Ah sure it's only New Zealand"?
Opta rates them on a par with Sligo Rovers and Drogheda ๐
His brother isnโt bad eitherโฆ.
Could Carmichael Uchenna be an Irish player who rises through the ranks and leaves supporters asking: โWhere has he come from?โ โณ
For a younger audience, though, โCarmโ will already be a familiar face.
Known online as โStaycarmโ, he has built a huge profile in the UK football content scene. But those who followed him before that will know he was documenting his own football journey long before his content took off.
That journey began with local club Athboy Celtic in Meath, before moves to Cherry Orchard and then Shamrock Rovers. He was highly regarded at Rovers, playing alongside the likes of Naj Razi, Cory OโSullivan, John OโSullivan, Ryan Ritchie and Cian Dillon.
After moving to England as a teenager and having trials with Premier League academies, his route into senior football came through the non-league pyramid. The setbacks didnโt stop him chasing his dream.
In September, that persistence brought a significant step forward: a move from Leverstock Green to Wealdstone in the National League, where he has already made his first appearances.
And thereโs plenty to like about his game. A powerful central midfielder with pace, excellent ball-carrying ability and a lovely left foot, he has the sort of profile that clubs love.
The 2006-born midfielder still has plenty of development ahead of him, but if he can establish himself at Wealdstone, he could become a genuine option for Irelandโs U21s in the next campaign.
Itโs early days, but heโs certainly a player Irish supporters should start keeping an eye on. What a story it could become.

What a moment for two Irish U21 stars, linking up tonight to score the clinching goal against promotion-chasing Sheffield Wednesday.
A first goal for County for Lipsiuc and a first assist for Finneran and what a way to get them.
Pure brilliance from Finneran, whose body feint created the opening before he teed up Lipsiuc to squeeze the ball past the goalkeeper. The knee-slide celebration told you exactly how much it meant to him.
Finneran will rightly take plenty of the headlines for that magnificent assist, but both lads should be absolutely delighted with their contribution.
Two superb young players growing in confidence - more encouraging signs for Irelandโs U21s ahead of Novemberโs play-offs.

Two goals and an assist in Swindonโs 3-1 victory over Barnet tonight takes him to eight goals in 12 games this season, following on from his outstanding return of 22 league goals and five assists last term.
Itโs been a slower start for Swindon this time around, with a few typically memorable Ian Holloway moments along the way, but Drinan continues to deliver. Three goals across his last two games, alongside his creative contributions, suggest heโs really finding his rhythm again.
When you look at his ability and goalscoring record, itโs hard to escape the feeling that heโs ready for a step up. Swindon did excellent business tying him down to a new contract last season, putting themselves in a strong position to keep him over the summer.
But you do wonder whether this will be his final season at this level. Heโs developed into an exceptional striker who knows exactly where the back of the net is.
Hopefully, his goals can fire Swindon closer to the play-offs in the weeks ahead.
The RB that really got away - NI already had Bradley and Hume when I spoke about Devlin as a potential option for us in December 2024. Shame that we never went for him, serious player but in fairness, came to the party very late.
