@InclusionMoves Seriously, did they get the irony of their comment or was that lost on them as well. As BLM has shown us, it has taken generation after generation of the same messages to final get some traction and change. Despite the constant effort and frustration speaking up must happen.
I've been following up on my new wheelchair through NDIS in the last 2 weeks, and it appears no one could find the OT script/request? Process began in June. Still no news on where things are up too.
A long time coming but finally started the process to make a formal complaint on the timelines for a new wheelchair through the @NDIS I figure 10 months is well and truly generous. Don't you? Let me take you through a few of the reasons I waited and what they say is the hold up.
@InclusionMoves I'm in. We need to show we are here to stay and are not going anywhere. We can send a positive message through this type of event about inclusion. Combine it with a fully accessible concert like they have in Melbourne. I reckon it's about time.
@footsiephotos@InclusionMoves@abcbrisbane I hear you, I constantly find myself fighting for inclusion/access to things that I was fighting for 20 years ago.......when will our right to 'Rights' be fully accepted?
