Masters student. Wife & carer to an inspirational human. Embracing a new life in beautiful Wales. Rediscovering self. Rarely anything other than exhausted.
Very pleased to announce that this year's @SWalesRecordSoc volume, edited by Kirsti Bohata, will be published soon: 'The Diary of Amy Dillwyn, 1863-1917'! 😀📚🏴
@lauravarnam@NineArchesPress A privilege to hear you Laura. I was profoundly moved and impacted by The Name of the Father. You’ve given voice not only to Grendel’s mother but to all of us who know. Thank you 🙏
I owe so much to these steelworks. His father’s job there kept my husband clothed & fed as a boy growing up on Sandfields in the 60s. Am tremendously sad that today brings fear & uncertainty to the generations that have followed. Thank you for reaching out @Sioned_W@Plaid_Cymru
The day so many of us have been dreading is here - the last blast furnace at Port Talbot steelworks is being decommissioned.
Broken promises mean that there'll be a devastating impact on jobs and the wider community.
If I can help you with something, please get in touch.
Thank you to the many thousands of people across the whole of the NHS & social care who helped deliver the care during the pandemic. Has been a strange and difficult day. But felt it was important to give witness to some small part of the enormity of the challenge we all faced.
@SarahM0rse @CREWswanuni I’m just 1 year into my relationship with @CREWswanuni and it was wonderful to finally ‘meet’ Wynn and to understand some of the legacy that @DanielGwydion and Kirsti carry so beautifully. I consider myself immensely lucky too!
🎉 Great news!

Seeing the vast wealth on display at the state opening of Parliament today felt uncomfortable while core services are having to be cut in our communities
Unfortunately, the content of the Speech did not reflect the scale of the change needed either
I feel a huge amount of grief this morning. Grief for lost futures, lost people, ruined things and for all the ways that the last 14 years made life for people harder, rougher, more dangerous, smaller, shorter. I suppose grief isn't a very political emotion, but that's where I am
@LeanneWood Rebuilding trust in politics may be the biggest challenge now. Heartbreaking to have seen disenfranchisement amongst most disadvantaged. Spirits broken as well as personal finances & public services. Demonstration of hope & integrity by @Plaid_Cymru offers real alternative.
Well, it is a very good morning in Wales. 🏴
This was Plaid Cymru's best ever result in a General Election.
Our 4 Plaid Cymru MPs will now work tirelessly to make sure Wales' voice is not ignored by the incoming Labour government.
