Seriously, I’m pleading with you #Academia, stop requiring letters of support for awards. It stops me almost every time from applying.
Not bc I don’t have letter writers who will write amazing things, but bc of many factors. Burden, labor, time, energy, etc. @AcademicChatter
Children are not appropriate emotional confidants. Even if they are great listeners, stop making them “mature for the age” by overloading them with adult problems.
