Some questions that all couples in couples therapy could ask a current pr prospective therapist:

1) if you clearly had an opinion about whether staying together was detrimental to one or both of the people involved would you share that?

2) how do you factor into your process the systemic power imbalances that show up in couples? Do you name them (e.g. racism, misogyny, ableism) when you see or hear of them? Do you educate people on how systemic oppression can show up in relationships?
