If - and it’s an IF - there is a ‘mass exodus’ of landlords following the budget, homes will not disappear. They will be sold and bought by other people - other landlords or owner occupiers. Or, in some cases, councils who have Right to Buy back funds as some in London do.

This is BIG.
Aside from the allegations of job losses threats, it's SHOCKING enough AstraZeneca is openly lobbying against a FAIR global tax on HUGE PROFITS they're making at the expense of nature-rich, money-poor countries.
Some have called this biopiracy. We call it STEALING.
Today, almost one year later, The Metals Company is taking Greenpeace to Court by appealing a legal ruling that confirmed Greenpeace International’s right to peaceful protest.

🚨 - A young guy I know was violently stabbed by 2 men with machete type knives. He had to have 10 hours of surgery and nearly lost his arm and his life. He’s been in hospital for over a month and is traumatised. He can’t return to his area so applied to Merton Council’s homelessness department and they tried to send him 230+ miles to Leeds as his only option otherwise he’d make himself ‘intentionally homeless’. They’re saying he doesn’t meet their ‘priority need’ criteria and therefore can’t help him.
He’s about to be kicked out of his hospital as he’s taking up a bed that’s needed and will be on the streets after nearly being killed. If he has to return to his area, there’s a high chance it will happen again.

Sending peaceful protestors to prison for highlighting existential dangers of climate collapse is dangerous & disproportionate. The right to peaceful protest won many of the liberties we enjoy today - criminalising it simply proves authorities are afraid of it because it works
🚨BREAKING: As Dove celebrates 20 years of "Real Beauty," @GreenpeaceUK exposes 20 years of REAL HARM.
Activists have SHUT DOWN Dove HQ in London, unveiling the UGLY TRUTH behind their empowering facade. 🧵
I haven’t done a thread in a while & I wanted to do one just to recap what Black & Asian people as well as immigrants have had to endure over the last week in the UK.
