This is super interesting - a Tory that stood for MP in his hometown in Croydon but did not get elected there now seems to be trying to make friends amongst the Mole Valley Tories.

@Morag68982676 I can’t see him serving a full term either though. He’s in his mid-70s, and MPs are on 1/40th final salary pensions so he will want to at least spend some time with his pension at some point...

@ArfurZTowcrate Interesting - I suppose he tried to endear himself to CCHQ by saying all that. So far he’s been sighted in Bookham and the Holmwoods, in one of the Bookham pictures he breaches the rule of six as the photographer would have been person number seven
