Despite all this, the tourism industry personnel are pulling it together welcoming the guests. The airport representatives are present to welcome the the tourists to the sunny side of life.

Resort butlers, housekeeping, chefs, waiters and everyone in the industry are going out of their way to serve the tourists to make sure that they have the best of what Maldives can offer for the holiday makers.

The people handling transfers including the boat crew, boat captains, flight attendants are taking care of the guests, making sure they are welcomed at the paradise destination.

What about the safety of Resort workers? They don’t even let us wear masks. There are people who takes care of tourist kids , there are people who serve food to tourists , there are people who service the rooms of tourists. There is no way we could keep any distance !!

While the whole country is praising the government , Health professionals (ofc they are doing a very important job) nobody is talking about the Resort workers! None . Every day we face tourists. People coming from countries where the virus is spreading like wild fire
