Congratulations to @resources4hd's IDEATE, who hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to launch innov8, a highly accessible lab with industry-standard tools outfitted for small business owners with the most significant disabilities!

Innov8 is the first of its kind in the greater Philadelphia area! Participants from Ideate were able to create an inspiring moment when they came together to cut the ribbon and present a huge step towards inclusive employment.

With the addition of industry-standard tools in conjunction with assistive technology, the lab will level the playing field for individuals with the most complex needs and significant barriers including wheelchair-adaptable furniture, a focus on visual accessibility, and a variety of innovative interfaces that meet any ability level.

Resources for Human Development is hosting an event on 10/25 from 11 am – 3 pm at the Basin Street Visitor’s Center.

RHD is a mobile crisis response team comprised of mental health professionals that respond to non-violent, mental health calls to 911 instead of NOPD.
