Gareth Hynes, who is a Specialist Registrar in Respiratory Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) and a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, has been awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours List for Services to Medical Education during the COVID-19 pandemic
Take part in the STIFLE Study if you:
Are aged 18 or over
Diagnosed with Asthma for at least 6 months
Can complete daily measurements at home for 6 months
Needed to use oral steroids for worsening asthma symptoms

Asthma Study
The STIFLE Study is investigating Asthma inflammation in patients taking daily Asthma medication. Measurements will be performed daily by patients at home using devices which will connect to a Smartphone.
Another successful public engagement evening last Thursday at St Philip & St James School Science evening.
