@SkarjOS@DynamoTheGoat@pri_xme difference is they have india server both matches so they can easily go to mumbai if they wanted, we dont have that option because we have sg server first match and then india server
We're the #1 seed from SEA, and we've already beaten the #2 SEA seed twice in the past two months in official tournaments. For some reason, the format of this qualifier pits SEA #1 vs SEA #2 in a single elimination match, this match is played on Singapore servers (which we have no issue with), after this the winner then faces the winner of the South Asia (India) bracket. We were originally told that the inter-regional decider match (SEA vs SA) would be played on Hong Kong servers; around 50โ70 ping for SEA and 70โ120 for SA. Just five days before the tournament, we were informed by LPL that they have changed the server for the inter-regional decider match to Mumbai โ a server where SA players get 0 ping, and SEA players (like us) are stuck with 70โ90. This change was apparently made after reviewing feedback from the teams, but none of the SEA teams were consulted and we are only getting this news 5 days before the event. The SEA match is still played on Singapore servers, which means we are required to stay in Singapore to compete. With both matches happening on the same day, itโs physically impossible for us to travel or adapt to this change even if we wanted to.
We were initially told the server would be Hong Kong so no region gets an inherent advantage but for some reason the server has been changed 5 days before the main event without consulting any of the SEA teams.
We gave feedback that the #1 seed of SEA should face off the #2 seed in SA and so on but were told this format was decided months in advance so it cant be changed. But for some reason it's ok to change the server 5 days before the event giving the Indian team an advantage in every possible way?
