@FieferP43990@kDarr66283@wolfgangkasper So there's no inherent advantage to this over 1000s of other plays, you say. But what other plays? You can name one. Which other company is producing at a similar rate to $lib.v today with the same cost metrics? Because I'd like to know
@Wingtrade101@wolfgangkasper I am unsure what vul does, but $lib.v is extracting lithium today out of 28 ppm brines in the Permian Basin. They've delivered 1 tonne and have produced a lot more, with their first 1000 tonne facility in production by year end.
@Gantosj I think all $lib.v needs is more word of mouth and public presentations. Planet Microcap is great to get the word out to retail investors, plus all the 1-on-1 meetings. How can you see this tech, understand it, and not want in?
The market will come to see the innovation that $LIB.v brings, and I expect the price to rise to a $1b valuation in time. And eventually eclipse even that. With their tech, spudomene mining will be a thing of the past.
$vltlf
@QHCapital@BetterIRR Hopefully a good amount, but I think just the visibility getting a DoE grant would give them would help propel the stock upwards. They seem like a shoe-in, when you read the description of what some of these grants are for
@BetterIRR Corning? 🤔 Wonder who their buyer is, excited to see the NR soon here. Great to see them covering the cost of the first unit through the locked pricing.
This company has so much going for it. A disruptor for the whole lithium mining industry. DLE done at scale with an almost limitless feed, all within the US. Who wouldn't want in? I also anticipate good news for future battery development alongside Packet Digital $lib.v $wttr
@LucasCrabapple@Gantosj It's not priced in. Signing an offtake agreement would guarantee a customer for 10/20/30 years at a time. I'm wondering, maybe what they want is to announce 2 or 3 at once. The plan is that each 1t site will have multiple customers for the different purities of carbonate produced
@whirlybard Pretty astounding stuff. Are there any other companies close to these numbers, doing volume and producing the tonnage that Liberty is? I can't find any that are currently doing real-world (battery or otherwise) work with such small lithium concentrations
@mikkyvaky It's game-changing. That's for sure. The tech works so well that it'll blow all other lithium companies away in due time. They've got it working at 28 ppm feeds with their gen 6 tech. Crazy stuff
@DustinFluff@Gantosj In USD, First unit is $37m and subsequent units are expected to be less. Opex is around $4k/t and cost of lithium carbonate let's say $25k/t. In a year you make $21m worth in profit, then minus a 5% royalty fee. $20m. You pay for that first unit completely in less than 2 years
@DustinFluff@Gantosj The tech, according to what's known, is very profitable. Even though the feedstock in the Permian is hosting very low concentrations of lithium (28ppm), there is so much volume that this first site will refine 1k tonne/yr from 120k barrels of the water daily.
@CoNaMaio We'd all be millionaires with should've-could'ves. I think they're much further de-risked than they were last September and a stronger buy at these prices. News regarding offtakes should come soon!
@Gantosj@Skeptical1704 Bit of a weirdly written article; it feels half-baked. Portions are ripped right from the https://t.co/rZurS7dDHV coverage, and then it ends abruptly while talking about BESS. Still, good to see more coverage spreading the word around.
@Gantosj@StoneX_Official Higher than $5! I wonder what their estimates are internally on scaling 1k this year, to 4k next year, to ?? In '28. They'll be swimming in profit.
I hope we can see gov grants to the company soon enough, they've definitely got the business model for it.
$VLTLF $LIB.v Great to see a US analyst "Benchmark" already initiating coverage on $LIB.v with a Buy rating and a $2 price target!
Early coverage like this usually signals growing institutional awareness & confidence in the company’s trajectory. 🚀
