@KortneyGlavin90 If you think someone can buy a gun without ID you’ve never bought a gun, you have to send in information about yourself and wait for an office to call back to say you can or can’t have a gun, sometimes it takes more than a day
THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN AMERICA. In 1930, an 18-year-old Scottish woman named Mary Anne MacLeod boarded a ship for New York with nothing but $50 in her pocket. She came from a rugged island with limited opportunity, registered as a domestic servant, and worked her way through the depths of the Great Depression.
Years later, she married Frederick, the son of German immigrants. They raised five children in Queens. Including a boy named Donald, who would grow up to reshape the New York skyline and eventually become President of the United States.
That is the extraordinary promise of America. It’s a story built on legal grit, hard work, and respect for the rule of law. Only in this country can the son of a legal immigrant maid rise to the highest office in the land.
America was never meant to be a place where people merely arrived—it was meant to be a country that people JOINED. Look at the Statue of Liberty. In her hand, she carries a tablet inscribed with July 4, 1776. That wasn’t an accident. We are a nation built on a revolutionary idea: that our rights come from God, not government, and that liberty only survives when we are willing to defend it.
Generations of legal immigrants didn't cross oceans just to cash in on our prosperity. They risked everything because they wanted to be a part of the American story. They didn't come to erase our culture or replace our system. They came because they wanted our principles and the rule of law. Becoming an American meant something so much deeper than just geography to them.
Nobody tell the progressives, but their favorite Founding Father, Broadway star Alexander Hamilton, actually held some of the STRICTEST immigration views of the entire founding generation. He believed immigration should serve the nation, not that the nation should exist to simply serve the world. And he warned that admitting foreigners indiscriminately into citizenship would be like wheeling the Trojan Horse directly into the citadel of our liberty and sovereignty.
.@elonmusk's @america PAC said it perfectly: "Immigration without assimilation is invasion."
They are 100% right. We’ve been conditioned to think it’s impolite to protect our own borders, but let’s stop pretending this radical shift is just like opening up a new "Little Italy." It’s not. When people refuse to melt in, they aren't looking to join America. They are looking to replace it.
