Deciding to register as an eye, organ, and tissue donor gives hope and light to 100,000 people on the national transplant waiting list who are wishing for a second chance at life.
Donors are superstars; register as one today! https://t.co/VsN67AGkTb
While today concludes #DonateLifeMonth, we join with @DonateLife and the rest of the transplant community in raising awareness about donation, encouraging Americans to register as eye, organ, and tissue donors, and honoring donors and their families all year long.
Today, we're all dressed in blue and green to bring attention to the donation community, and to encourage others to give the gifts of sight and life by registering as eye, organ, and tissue donors at:

Throwback to the August 2017 #eclipse - notice the EBAA staff using proper safety members to enjoy it!
Protecting your eyesight is of utmost importance during an eclipse. Use these tips to keep yourself safe on Monday!

On Monday, the entire continental U.S. will enjoy at least a partial #eclipse.
During this exciting cosmic event, it is essential to protect your eyes properly - looking at the sun without specialized protection for solar viewing can cause irreparable harm to your eyesight.
A few of the women from @EversightVision offered to share their experiences as mothers in the workplace, the importance of strong woman leadership on their careers, and the value woman mentorship offers other women.
We invite you to read their perspectives on our website:
Today is widely known as a celebration of love - in the transplant community, it is observed as #NationalDonorDay!
We encourage you show your love for those in need of a transplant by registering as a donor hero at https://t.co/VsN67AGkTb.
For more information on corneal donation, #EyeDonationMonth, and to register as a donor hero like Jack, go to https://t.co/yCGu04KEuU. Read Todd's tribute on our website:
Meet Todd Deloplaine, son of Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steeler and cornea donor, Jack 'Hydroplane' Deloplaine - whose story is the centerpiece of #EyeDonationMonth 2023.

The theme of Eye Donation Month 2023 is: A New View!
It celebrates the new perspective on life that corneal transplant recipients experience after having their sight restored, and the change in viewpoint donor families express when the pain of the loss of a loved one...
partially mitigated by the opportunity to share the gift of sight with someone in need of a transplant.
To reflect this theme, we asked our members and the communities to submit personal photos of views that make them grateful for the gift of sight.
We are so glad @restoresight could highlight The Deloplaine Family for #EyeDonationMonth! Want to learn more about Jack Deloplaine and his donation story? Visit our website: https://t.co/gE2fWw2Kj7
We encourage you to go to https://t.co/ml14TQJkDU to read about some of the many Veterans working throughout eye banking and some who are not just American heroes, but donor heroes as well.
'Thank you' is not adequate.
Happy (observed) Veterans Day!
On this special day during Eye Donation Month, we honor and express our gratitude to all those who have served - especially those working towards our mission to #RestoreSight worldwide, and those who have given the gift of sight.
