A concerned National Service Scheme (NSS) personnel has expressed frustration over the conditions facing this year’s service personnel, accusing the government of treating them unfairly.
The individual claimed that repeated deductions are being made from their allowances to cover expenses many personnel are not involved in, adding that payments are often delayed and arrive with unexplained deductions already made.

You pay ₵715 allowance for NSS personnel monthly but the last allowance came in April and we are in July, yet deductions keep happening. Why is it compulsory to buy NSS cloth and contribute money to NASPA Capacity Building Program from ₵715?
