@iHarbonaut I am reminded of Player's Miami Cobra GT -- I wonder if that was an independent implementation of a Chase HQ-like engine: https://t.co/TrRXV0yBUf
New World Of Spectrum database is a fork of a two-year-old ZXDB dump - but WoS is claiming it's all their own work, will not credit ZXDB, and have tried to munge the data to cover their tracks. #zxspectrum#worldofspectrum

Hey look over here. I'm featured in the latest issue of @wireframemag, an article by @Wizwords. You can download a free PDF here...

Crash review of Nemesis the Warlock (May 1987). There were two Crash Smashes that issue. Enduro-Racer and the Mighty Sentinel. That's my theory why we missed out... and I'm sticking to it ;) @CrashOnlineUK@2000AD
@Lord_Arse One of my favourite games. The puzzle nature of the game gives it a unique blend of strategy against a slightly-tight time limit with a little shoot-em-up goodness. Plus, a neat game completion sequence.
I backed this the other day, a retro-inspired game called Silk, bringing back open world exploration games in a Lords of Midnight style. Visuals look amazing and retro. Has elements of Elite too. #kickstarter#silkgame
James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing (PS2): Gorgeous environments, though horizontal split hinders taking out snipers. It's too tough for a gamer + non-gamer couple, brutal objectives: +70% accuracy and not dying. Perhaps stealth over shoot-first approach? #ps2#twoplayer
SSX 3 (PS2): Fun, if a little bland. We still need to learn how to do tricks. Screen splits vertically, and it doesn't seem claustrophobic. Good choice for an introducing gaming to my better half. #ps2#twoplayer
Current retro-gaming system: PS2. Current interest: Checking out two player games and finding the enjoyable ones. Prefer offline co-operative games. #ps2#twoplayer
@zx_wife @iSabreman @melkig1967 No, not really. The divide is between people who are happy to turn a blind eye to Lee Fogarty's abusiveness and toxicity, and those who are not. He could relinquish control of WoS to a community supported team, and the division you claim will disappear overnight.
@zx_wife There's also the question of why Fogarty has costed the servers at over twice the price as the exact same configuration that Fasthosts offers, yet claims the money is only for that replacement server. (Fogarty runs WoS on a Fasthosts-hosted dedicated server)
@zx_wife The last 5 years has seen the new WoS site go from 80% done to 80% done. Yet, https://t.co/feWVFaeUD0 has the full catalogue that WoS has, plus titles released between 2012 and 2017 -- that's the new home-brew releases -- and actively updated.
