I was in Elem School in the 60's with JFK's Fitness program. Teachers tested us, using stop watches, measuring tape (for distance), and handcounts for # of repetitions. Pull-ups, push-ups, squats, running, pitching, jumping. We were all mostly slim & athletic. No school lunches were provided, you brought yours from home. We climbed trees, walked fences, rode bikes for miles, roller skated, swam, did cart wheels on lawns, walked every where, played tether ball, dodge ball, had only one hour of tv after dinner, did yardwork on weekends, etc. HS had mandatory rigerous PE classes; swim, dance, badmitton, track, La Crosse, etc. I don't know who decided, or when that was all dropped....

Essentially what has happened is that the decaying political establishment has imported millions of migrants from alien cultures that are entirely incompatible with the British way of life.

Those migrants have colonised large parts of our country, and live their lives how they choose to do so because our authorities are too frightened of being called racist to challenge them.

It's not just LA. California is bonkers.

Here in Sonoma County, our friends wanted to remodel their home. It took them nine months to get the building permit. And today, they told us the permit was issued … but when they were handed the building permit, they were told they'll also need a grading permit, and that will take another 6-12 months.

Meanwhile the County Executive is making over half a million per year in salary and benefits, and there are no less than 550 County employees making more than the Speaker of the House, the highest paid of the US senators at $223,000 salary plus benefits. These include the two Directors of the Permit Department, drawing $385k and $281k

Now that Gavin Newsom and his wife are being investigated over allegations involving taxpayer dollars and their nonprofit, my husband and I have been talking to people in our community and telling them exactly what’s happening in California.

This election, Democrats no longer deserve our loyalty. We should be voting for our livelihood.

My husband and I are both voting for @SteveHiltonx. His proposal would eliminate state income taxes for Californians making $150,000 a year or less. He says he will do this by cutting government waste, fraud, and abuse, including taxpayer dollars flowing through NGOs and agencies that are not serving the public effectively.

I know the Central Valley is ready for change because working-class families can no longer afford the policies coming out of Sacramento. Families are struggling with the cost of housing, groceries, gas, utilities, and insurance. People are working harder than ever and falling further behind.

For us, this election isn’t about party loyalty. It’s about quality of life. It’s about whether working families can afford to stay in California and build a future for their children. We’re voting for our livelihood, and I believe more families across the Central Valley are starting to do the same.

Californians were fed up with retail theft and passed Prop 36 in all 58 counties with nearly 70% voter approval.

Instead of fully funding and implementing what voters demanded, state legislators drafted AB 2108 and created yet another diversion program: this time for retail theft offenders.

Like mental health diversion, it offers another way to avoid jail time. Offenders even walk away without a conviction on their record. Even more surprising is that some of California’s largest retailers, along with the California Retailers Association, support the bill despite reporting billions of dollars in losses due to retail theft.

Voters wanted meaningful consequences for retail theft offenders, but the state legislature moved in the opposite direction.
