Everyone’s chasing “DeFAI”, but forgets what the “A” stands for.
You can’t just plug an LLM into Etherscan and expect alpha. You need consumable data.
That’s why I’ve recently been building @DeepBlockAI. A layer that understands on-chain activity. Not just logs, but context.
Now, agents can do more than guess:
- Early DeFi opportunity detection
- Real-time security monitoring
- Automated portfolio managementCurious who'll be first to build real utility here.
And who still thinks agents can manage portfolios without understanding the numbers?
A new essay by one of my favorite writers, @Eclecticcapital, is a beautiful example of a disappearing art: (Human) Deep Thinking.
Personally, I felt a deep resonance between the concepts in the essay and the core values behind @DeepBlockAI, the project I’ve been building over the past few months.
The author introduces the concept of LLMs as a binary system: The Librarian and The Stack.
Here’s a simplified breakdown:
The Stack: a structured memory system: a vast, multidimensional library of ideas, memories, insights, and more.
The Librarian: a model-as-interpreter: a custom, intelligent interface that retrieves, interprets, and recontextualizes elements from the Stack.
And what struck me is how closely this mirrors DeepBlock’s own architecture.
