@freekeysha@nubbiecakes@IAmLilRico Yes I know it's intentionally weaponized and I'm saying take the power away from them and not reacting exactly how they want you to, make the word lose its power and it becomes obsolete
@scotianblu@Donni2024que@IAmLilRico She's had altercations in my presence and has been called that, I didn't kill the person who did. Look for something else to say.
@nubbiecakes@IAmLilRico Neither am I saying the word is right, I'm just suggesting that we let go and take away their power to hurt us by the use of a single word regardless of its history because if they see we don't care and aren't bothered anymore they'll have no choice but to let go of it too
@djblkbeltjames The so called black Americans were slaves from Africa, it isn't just your birthright to be called black and you don't bring respect to the term black, y'all are just as racist as whites if not more, you think yourselves above Africans when you're just a branch
@whois_jordan@KingWaughIII@IAmLilRico Insults are meant to be disrespectful, doesn't mean you have to react with violence and get yourself thrown in jail. It's a problem when you react violently regardless of what was said to you, that doesn't and will never count as self defense when it's just a word said
@nubbiecakes@IAmLilRico And every action comes with consequences which goes both ways. The court isn't gonna side with you because of a word you just could've ignored. Emotions don't mix with laws
