@MissBNasty Make sure to read the sequel, “It Starts With Us”. It’s redemptive!

May we increasingly become love as God is love.

Tonight, we celebrated the 75th annual Yule Log Lighting Ceremony at @stetsonu . We celebrated light entering the world and reminded ourselves of the light we each are. Pictured is the Stetson Gospel choir singing a medley before an evening of community singing. Grateful!

[Todd @rev_tcj]

@RevJacquiLewis Oh no! I didn’t know. What a wonderful man Mr. Lewis was! May his memory be for a blessing.

[Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis @RevJacquiLewis]

As I’ve been thinking about all of the violence and loss of life we’ve seen over the past couple days, I remembered this sermon I preached a couple of years ago right after domestic terrorists tried to overthrow our government on January 6.

All terrorists—those who attacked our capital, those who attacked Jews in Israel, and those who drip a daily dose of terror on Palestinians—deserve our criticism, our outrage, and our demands for peace.

#PeaceOnEarth #FierceLove

[Todd @rev_tcj]

Violence does not solve our problems; it merely begets more violence. Wholeness takes work and requires justice, healing, and freedom. May our siblings seek and find wholeness.

[Todd @rev_tcj]

A message I shared with our university as their trusted chaplain. I share it with you.

Shalom (שָׁלוֹם) not only means ‘peace’ in Hebrew, but it also means ‘wholeness.’ Our hearts break for lives taken during the closing of the holiest of days for our Jewish siblings.

[Todd @rev_tcj]

For wholeness is what we desire in Israel-Palestine; for human dignity and liberation of all, so that a people is not brought to such desperation to do what we have witnessed this weekend.

[Carleton College @CarletonCollege]

Once again, @usnews has ranked Carleton as a top 10 liberal arts college and named it the number one school for undergraduate teaching, a ranking Carleton has held for 13 straight years.

Sometimes on my knees in prayer all I have strength to utter is “Lord, you know,” and like the reassurance of a mother’s grip I feel the Lord holding my hand and in him I put my trust.

[Todd @rev_tcj]

Great start!

“Reverend Todd Campbell, Jr., MDiv –who himself is only one week into his new role as University Chaplain -easily related to the excitement and anxiety of the freshman class. Rev. Campbell opened with a thoughtful prayer before President Roellke’s opening remarks.”

Stetson University’s 2023 Convocation set the stage for the upcoming academic year, filled with tear-jerking testimonies of resilience, inspiring encouragement, sage advice, and recognizing the significance of the 140th anniversary of its founding.

Enjoying the Italian sun and @tashasmith4real introduced me to #blackgirlsunscreen… While it was made with people of color in mind, it can be used on every skin tone and feels so good. So worth supporting ♥️ Wishing the very best to all the entrepreneurs out there 🙏🏽✊🏽

Ain’t it crazy that “go get the switch” means multiple things to two different generations? Like it triggers me, but it excites my nephew.
