We were in4md that SSD tokens are a must to get benefit for an early darshan even if we take alipiri steps. Tokens are supposed to release at 4 pm bt rlsd at 12 pm. Wasn’t aware of this. We are 3 doctors from Hyderabad, along with mother nd brother stranded with no darshan

A little anecdote on Chiru's birthday. ✨

This January, ahead of Waltair Veerayya, Chiru met with print/digital journalists. I was thrilled to get an invite, which informed me that the interaction will start at 9 am, sharp. Now, these interactions NEVER tend to start on time; there's a minimum one hour delay, regardless of the timing, location and stature of the celebrity, and there have been instances when I, and many journos, were made to wait two-three hours. It's pretty much the norm here, unfortunately.

A couple of weeks before this interaction happened, I had to wait for 2 hours to interview a sophomore actress. Naturally, I believed that the waiting time was
directly proportional to the popularity of the interview subject, and prepared myself for a minimum three hour wait, considering it is THE Chiranjeevi. Nevertheless, I showed up at the venue at 8:45 and took a seat.

Just when most of the journalists were casually getting coffee/tea and snacks, since there was plenty of time for the interaction to begin, Chiranjeevi suddenly walked into the room. Stunned, I reached out to my mobile to check the time. It was 8:56 am. Now, a celebrity arriving on time has never happened before or after this event throughout my 8 month tenure so far in Hyderabad. Never. Not once. He interacted with everyone, giving importance to each one of us, and even appreciated @Sangeetha_Devi ma'am when she helped him recall Clint Eastwood's name. At one point, the whole group interaction became so warm and fun that even a photographer even asked him a question. I just wish the entire interaction was taped, but then, it wouldn't have been this special and personal. I was just awed, closely witnessing the sweetness of a matnee idol, whom I have looked at with adulation for years.

This might not sound like a big deal to you, but, I believe, it tells volumes about the man. Let me reiterate, not a single interaction started on time, with such precision, before and after this. Chiru is one-piece. His skill and stardom need no new validation. His persona goes beyond hits and flops.
