Yes. I can tell you. It’s because the LDS isn’t a Christian faith. It’s a polytheistic space cult founded by a criminal and adulterer whose doctrines were delivered to him by who very clearly was a demon, and the Apostle Paul said, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8-9).
Besides, your church fathers denounced our faith long ago. Brigham Young said (JD 8:171), “The Christian world, so called, are heathens as to their knowledge of the salvation of God.” Your entire cult denied being Christian until well into the 20th Century.
Are you new to Mormonism? You legit didn’t know this?
You see, the LDS emphatically declared itself to be something other than “Christian” from the very beginning. Which is wholly accurate, of course, because there’s not a single historic Christian creed you could co-sign.
B.H. Roberts (Mormon Doctrine of Deity, p.116) said of us, “Orthodox Christian views of God are Pagan rather than Christian.” Literally everyone knows that Mormons and Christian orthodoxy don’t mix.
Your religion isn’t even monotheistic. Your Doctrine of Eternal progression makes Mormonism the undisputed most polytheistic religion on Earth - FAR more polytheistic than Hinduism, potentially an infinite number of gods. With YOU as an impending god yourself.
But before you wail and mown about your self-exile from Christianity being unfair, I’ll remind you, your cult started it.
John Taylor (JD 13:225) said, “What does the Christian world know about God? Nothing… they are the veriest fools; they know neither God nor the things of God.”
Bruce R. McConkie (Mormon Doctrine, p.177) said, “Believers in the doctrines of modern Christendom will reap damnation to their souls.”
The feelings are mutual. There’s not a single historic Christian doctrine you affirm. Islam shares more doctrines in common with Christianity than Mormonism.

In Defense of Luther’s Coarse Language – a thread 🧵
All who have spent time reading Luther have noticed his harsh and at times provocative and rough language. This scandalizes many, though it is my impression that those who take the greatest issue with it are those who have..
