Christ, was God HIMSELF providing eternal life (freedom from corruption, and an eternal relationship with him) by defeating corruption (His resurrection from death).

And the propitiation shows that God was pleased with Jesus's sacrifice.

Now think:
Was God pleased because He (the one offering) was now chill

Or because of what that sacrifice would accomplish, which had always been His intent?

Salvation is not that God was angry with mankind & decided to appease His wrath.

This is God delivering man from death into life.
It's beyond who was angry & who wasn't.

The moment you began the very Gospel on the wrong foot, I only wonder what your entire theology is built on.

But rather diligent explanations that do utmost justice & keep the interpretation of the fathers upheld, as they're so correct.
