@Tkinoiitalian make several pieces in different styles and with different materials (different sizes too)... its unbelievable how different it feels to use a pencil vs charcoal vs fountain pen vs watercolor vs oil etc etc and it expands your entire approach. also i really like your face styles
@goldenwitchfire the more anime i watch the more i think about that old take about unattackable 3x3s; everybody already knows the classics are good- think its much more interesting to just ram that bullshit b-side that "had no right being so good" and see if anyone connects with the feeling
@kfaraday sometimes i open by moving my left knight to the diagonal left sqare, which is probably one of the worst moves, but its aesthetically so interestingly crooked, and its fun to watch the opponent have a near seizure trying to process why would i ever do that/why this move exists
@Aochhii@goldenwitchfire i watched about a third of Miko after; that show handles its tone much more conventionally, which is okay, but it kinda turned me off that the episodes are pretty formulaic... i found it similar only in the mc pairing tbh, but then again theyre less weird
ill try Gettan thanks!!!
@Aochhii@goldenwitchfire heres a quote from a reviewer in MAL for reference:
"Yami is like the Lain if combined with Inuyasha and added innuendo."
the maths on this man, the 4d anime calculus, the brilliance
@goldenwitchfire Yume Tsukai
you walk in thinking youll get the crazy ero and visual tornado Riichi Ueshiba deploys in the manga, but its the opposite- it looks cheap and plots are all TV safe, but somehow it manages to be chill, at times a little twisting, and never too retarded; i... need more
@CappyThule i suspect there is something striking about having multiple subjects in a piece in general- that is, a lot of artists most liked pieces have multiple persons in them; anyway bro check your dms (or dm requests), i messaged you and you can reply if you want!!!!!!!!!!!
@CappyThule all of them are pretty phenomenal, but the most striking ones to me tend to be those with multiple subjects and those which are least darkly lit; eg moonlight GS, the desert duos, pretty much every piece with the nude priestess with the dazzling white clothing...
