@acachilles10@Tomahawk903@TedBrogan2@atrupar This is a very silly argument to make while claiming to be a constitutionalist. The Constitution quite explicitly claims to exist to 'promote the general welfare' and says nothing at all about closing borders, the idea of which wasn't invented for generations after it was written
@ianharber "Female sex is simply one of the things that have feminine gender; there are many others, and Masculine and Feminine meet us on planes of reality where male and female would be simply meaningless."
~ C.S. Lewis, Perelandra
Dunno. Sounds a little woke to me.
@JJAngie677204@KirstiMiller30@tashakershaw80@GMB@CharlotteHawkns@edballs You're halfway there. They have male skeletons but now have female musculature. They have the skeletal mass of males and the strength to move that of a female. If you put the same engine in a little car and a big car, which one do you think will be faster?
@CitizenNill I never got over how Ireland seemed to still be entirely under British rule in the magical world and nobody commented on it. We should have known.
@Ron4California@micah_erfan It means that this clause does not apply to certain American Indians and the children of diplomats and ambassadors (folks with diplomatic immunity). If you can get arrested by a cop then you are 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof' and your kids born here are citizens.
@quiltercatlady@micah_erfan If they weren't 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof' they wouldn't be getting rounded up; they seem pretty damn subject to the jurisdiction. That clause refers to some American Indians and ambassador's children and the like. If cops can arrest you here, your kids are citizens.
@AlikanPhonenix@K8T1144@stacycay I trust all the strangers I meet every day who call me 'miss' or 'ma'am' more than I trust people who choose to be mean to strangers on the internet.
@K8T1144@stacycay About one to two percent of people are trans. How many times do you see a hundred people or more? Do you ever go through a train station or walk down a city street or attend a large church or eat at a crowded restaurant? If you don't see a couple trans people there, they passed.
@EiratheIntern I tend to look at TERFdom as based on a different, equally incorrect single axiom: The experience of being a woman is very bad. No one could want to be a woman, so trans women must have ulterior motives and trans men are pitiable turncoats. It's all internalized misogyny.
@JoeSpurs3@AriDrennen What does that mean to you in practice? Do you think trans women are masturbating in bathrooms? Or later; thinking about how they were in a bathroom? That's such a weird and specific thing to imagine millions of people are doing and lying about. I promise you, we're just peeing.
@kisstheblade_ Of course we wouldn't. You need to get one of those dickies to wear under it to hold your collar. Once you've got that, this look rocks.
@ChronoKatie There are so many different ways to judge this. It is inherently subjective though, and so I am going to give a very subjective answer: It is the original Super Smash Brothers because it is the game I spent the most time playing with my brother.
@NDHuskerfan711@johnmilbank3 That wasn't said as a pastor, just a Christian and theater lover. This is said as a pastor: Anonymized cruelty is one of the worst vices this age has to offer; for the sake of your soul I pray you can rid yourself of the enjoyment of that evil.
@torturebyrosesz I'm sorry you're dealing with these feelings, but I assure you they are a symptom of dysphoria, social media, and a pervasive campaign of anti-trans rhetoric. Many trans people pass, it is not a tiny minority. And, while passing is helpful in many ways, not passing is no failure.
