Make no mistake: The killing of Charlie Kirk was a political assassination.
Charlie was going to be President one day. We could all see it. Everyone knew it.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated because he was winning. He was changing a generation. Turning young people toward truth, faith, and country. That made him unstoppable, and that made him a target of evil.
To honor him, we must carry on his mission: to defeat the evil consuming our culture with truth.
Once again, a bullet has silenced the most eloquent truth teller of an era. My dear friend Charlie Kirk was our country's relentless and courageous crusader for free speech. We pray for Erika and the children. Charlie is already in paradise with the angels. We ask his prayers for our country.
Heavenly Father, We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Erika, the wife of Charlie Kirk, and their two precious children. In this time of unimaginable loss and sorrow, we ask that You wrap them in Your boundless love and comfort. Grant Erika strength to navigate this painful season, filling her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Surround their daughter and son with Your tender care, protecting their young hearts and minds as they face a world forever changed.
Provide them with a community of support, filled with compassion and grace, to walk alongside them in the days ahead. May Your presence be their refuge, Your hope their anchor, and Your love their foundation. Let the memories of Charlie’s devotion to his family and his faith be a source of solace and inspiration.
We trust in Your mercy, Lord, and ask that You guide Erika and her children toward healing, holding them close through every tear and every step. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
This was May 25, 2025. Charlie was a force of nature, brilliant, brave, indefatigable, a happy warrior without whom President Trump does not become 47.
Exodus 23:20
“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.”
Erika Kirk, wife of Charlie Kirk, posted a Bible verse just hours before he was shot at a Utah event:
"Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Charlie Kirk died as he lived: Fighting for light in the darkest corners of America.
Charlie Kirk is a martyr for his country. A Christian solder. He lived with hope. God has now called him home.
This is America’s Turning Point.
To honor him, we must carry on his mission: to confront the evil consuming our culture and fight it back with truth.
There will never be another like him. His vision now becomes our charge.
Charlie Kirk. American Martyr. Christian Soldier. Forever honored. This is America’s Turning Point.
I have never told this story publicly before:
When my own family faced real danger, my home damaged by fire, bullets flying on our block, my infant child and wife under threat, Charlie Kirk literally gave us his house to stay in as long as we needed as we searched for a new place to live in Florida. We were there for months. Charlie never asked for a thing in return.
I have a home in Florida and a thriving, growing family because of Charlie Kirk.
That’s the type of man he was.
Multiply that by millions of young lives, and you see the force he was.
We must carry forward his mission.
"I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk."
"Because of this heinous act, Charlie's voice has become bigger and grander than ever before."
President Trump releases a statement reacting to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Leader Steve Scalise was shot.
President Trump was shot.
Then, another attempt was made on his life.
Christians are being hunted down in their houses of worship.
And now, Charlie Kirk, a father, a husband, a man of God, and a champion for freedom who helped deliver a historic victory for this nation, has been murdered.
This wave of political violence sweeping America is evil, un-American, and must end now.
No family should endure this, no community should suffer this, and no citizen should fear for their life because of their faith or their convictions.
As a father of three, my heart aches for Charlie’s wife and children. I am reminded that life is fragile, sacred, and given to us by God alone.
Charlie Kirk was a Christian who had accepted Jesus as his Savior.
We know the Lord will be greeting him, saying, "Well done good and faithful servant."
Accept Jesus today just like Charlie did. 🙏
