I hope to be back very soon and to be able to contribute in some other ways while I'm on a break from the work of collection and distribution.
All the best,
Elisabetta
Contact associations that may accept donations of finished items: The Capuchin Centre in Smithfield, Muslim Sisters of Eire, Dublin South City Partnership, etc.
I just want to thank you for contributing in the past years, we've been able to support so many people since 2017!
There are still many ways you can contribute during this time!
Get in touch with local communities of crafters, the Dublin Knitwork and Community Centres are a good starting point to make new friends and make donations or exchanges of yarn.
I am no longer based in Rathmines and while I take time to create new links in my new neighbourhood, I will pause all collections and deliveries of donations until further notice.
Please, do not post any packages to our location in Rathmines as I'm no longer based there.
You may have noticed a lack of activity on social media and a delay in communications, I sincerely apologies for this.
Unfortunately, due to a mix of personal reasons and an unplanned change of residence I find myself unable to support Revived Yarn's activities at the moment.
Hello everyone, hope all of you had a fantastic summer. As the cold weather approaches, many of you have reached out to me to offer donations as our usual volunteering season starts late in September.
Do you have any spare yarn to donate for a good cause? The knitters and crocheters volunteering with Revived Yarn need your support 🥰 go to https://t.co/GvY2P3Lhw3 to check requirements on yarn donations and email [email protected] for any queries. Thank you
Revived Yarn will be at this fantastic event this weekend at the Richmond Barracks May Fair. Come to say hi and check out volunteering opportunities and free knitting patterns. Knitted/crocheted donations and yarn can be dropped off, contact [email protected] for info 🥰
This evening I paid a visit to the team of the Homeless Street cafe and dropped off two large bags of knitted and crocheted items. Thanks a million to all of you who have contributed to this ❤
And thanks to @homeless_cafe for their amazing work in Grafton St.

Hello everyone, unfortunately I have taken the difficult decision to end the collaboration of Revived Yarn with the ICHH. You can find the detailed announcement in the new blog post below.

In today's VLOG video I am going to experiment with natural dyeing, using onion peels and turmeric powder to shift the color of a white yarn.

Many of you have contacted me to ask how to donate knitted items and if it's possible to post. At the moment I don't have this option unfortunately, but I'm thinking of potential solutions. In the meantime please be safe, and keep knitting if you enjoy it. Hats and cowls mainly.
We're taking a break this October and pausing the collection of donations until further communication, planning to be back in November! Keep up with the knitting and crochet, we'll need more supplies to distribute in December :)
Thank you all ❤
