Jaylon Johnson’s reaction to Coby Bryant’s Interception:
“Honestly, I was a little panicked because we were running a two man and I didn’t see him and then I looked and he got the interception. I just like guys who are confident and they go make it happen. Things like that make me excited.
Full praise for the new Safety 🔥
Bears CB Jaylon Johnson full answer on the Bears offense and Caleb Williams:
"It's the best offense I've seen in my 7 years.. Caleb's the best QB I've had since maybe Nick Foles if you want to go back that far.. he's doing his thing. You can see the accuracy.. the confidence."
Jaylon Johnson said he'd need a full offseason to feel like he's back to the player he was before needing core muscle surgery.
His training focused on the mechanics of running while he incorporated a lot of speed work and pilates into his routine.
Despite being under contract through 2027, this upcoming season is "definitely a contract year."
Johnson said he purposely structured his contract to put himself back at the table at age 27.
Johnson: "We all know with the cap hit and all that stuff. It's definitely a contract year for me. At the end of the day, whether that's here, somewhere else, I've gotta put it on tape that I'm still a top guy in this league."
