This was two years ago.
He knew he had cancer then.
He was fighting just like these kids, and he made time for them. Made time to make them smile.
Just two years...
The world lost a king and a hero today. But he won't be forgotten, not by us, and not by those kids.
@AlexM_talkSPORT @chadwickboseman I just realized this. Wasn’t there a picture that surfaced months ago with him looking skinnier. People were saying it was him getting into shape for a character he was playing😥 this is so heartbreaking. Thoughts go out to his family
@chadwickboseman It was the highest honor getting to work with you and getting to know you. What a generous and sincere human being. You believed in the sacred nature of the work and gave your all. Much love to your family. And much love from all of us left here.
Tonight’s armband is for George Stinney. George is the youngest American to ever be sentenced to death. He was 14 when he was executed. In 2014, 70 years after his death, his conviction was vacated.
When we pray, God expects that we also be mindful of those who do not think as we do, those who have slammed the door in our face, those whom we find it hard to forgive. Only prayer unlocks chains, only prayer paves the way to unity.
