Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong has one of the most interesting stories in all of competitive gaming 

Back in the olden days of 2015 when Bdd was still a teenager in school, kid was next up. At a time when League of Legends was exploding with the popularity behind Faker and his multiple world titles, this Bdd kid was going to be the heir apparent. 

Kid was a highlight reel. He’d take champions and break the ankles of pro players in clip videos on Youtube. His Zed would make some of the best players in the world look silly. He was so assured to be the next big thing that his birthday felt like the second coming of Jesus for some fans 

Bdd was signed to the legendary franchise CJ Entus, which once reigned in Korea during its StarCraft heyday and the early times of League. But as all great empires do, this one fell, and they needed a savior. Bdd was that savior. Fans, casters, analysts, all waited for him to turn 17 to be eligible to play and take CJ back to the promised land.

His birthday hits, and here comes Bdd, the new GOAT. Shit is like New Year's. People tune in to watch the next coming grab his crown, lock in Zed and teabag the completion 

But something else happens: CJ Entus and Bdd keep sucking. Bdd has a few good games but for the large part a failure. CJ, once the Kings of League in Korea, derailed once their savior turned out to be fool's good 

CJ Entus and Bdd get relegated from the major leagues. CJ never makes it back. CJ Entus as an org eventually dissolves. Bdd the biggest bust of all time
