@vadiks2003 Yep, I've been reconfiguring our infrastructure to play better with Cloudflare protection to allow us to more harshly mitigate bad traffic. ^pm
@Sedorriku_@YellowGetRekt Servers are accessible again, we were under attack periodically after the announcement but we're working to better mitigate any further attacks. ^pm
@vadiks2003 We were under attack straight after the announcement went live, everything should be stable now though. I'm working on improving our DDoS mitigation currently. ^pm
@ChuckReynolds Servers were inaccessible for a while due to a DDoS, I've since updated the app and I'm still updating parts of infrastructure to better mitigate any attacks. ^pm
@RetroUpgrade Servers were inaccessible for a while due to a DDoS, I've since updated the app and I'm still updating parts of infrastructure to better mitigate any attacks. ^pm
@TheGreenPig321 Seems we were hit with a DDoS around that time, it was the middle of the night so only auto-mitigation kicked in, everything is working as normal now though. ^pm
@RickySmeggers Hi, you can select "see other platforms and downloads" on the website and select "GitHub Releases" under Windows. We prefer users install through the Windows Store because we can guarantee any future updates will always go through but the option is there to use an installer. ^pm
@its_rigz The current main priority right now is to get the new Revolt client up and running, and it's mainly just me working on it right now. You can see a rough roadmap here: https://t.co/WpvQFZui3P ^pm
Hi, I've cut off service for a little bit since we are currently being DDoS'd and I'd rather not have all that traffic hit the actual server nodes. On the plus side, it just started snowing outside. ^pm
@dejalopensar This isn't particularly descriptive, could you please open a ticket by sending an email to [email protected] and provide any relevant screenshots, thanks! ^pm
@GOD_SPEEDRESRA Currently, you have to add our F-Droid repository, we may look into publishing to the main repository in the future. https://t.co/T9kVcZ1QVl ^pm
@ToxicJ73978315 @RexogamerS I do want to mention, reading through the thread: Voice needs its own server-side component as to prevent users from connecting to each other directly. Discord does the same thing in this regard but it's entirely transparent to the user. (2/2)
@ToxicJ73978315 @RexogamerS We do use WebRTC, it's used under the hood by Vortex. WebRTC is simply a set of technologies which can be implemented by a library such as mediasoup (which we're currently using) or webrtc-rs (which we want to switch to). ^pm (1/2)
