Having gone from couch to 5k and back again, I’m lamenting my inability to stick at anything exercise related for any length of time. Still, I managed to repeat a run from week 5 so maybe this time....?
@revemswylie @adstansted @Couchto5K It can feel like that! I had a knee injury but resting it well and taking time off was worth it. I hope you can get back to it fully restored soon!
Following talk on health by @adstansted at last clergy study day, I decided to do a new thing @Couchto5K Today I finished the 9 weeks with a 6.5k run and I’m rather pleased with that! How not to go back to the couch is next challenge!
Scarf looks empty without Police Chaplaincy badge. I’ll treasure fabulous memories. Thank you for your patience, friendship and for allowing me into your world. Awesome people and I will miss you all. @EssexPoliceUK@EssexOSG @EPRoadsPolicing
Laura on my couch to 5k App tells me that I’m now an official runner because I’ve got to the end of week 6 and have run for 25 mins! She wouldn’t say that if she could see me in action! But I’m pleased nevertheless. #Couchto5K
Sitting with incredible people sharing stories of empowerment and transformation with Sport England a privilege. To be listened to and heard is a powerful thing @tphollingsworth@Catch22CHIP@yourcolchester @bishcolchester @chelmsdio
Listening to Police Officer during a chaplaincy visit and suddenly I understand what God’s grace looks like and what it means. Finding out where heaven and earth come together is always an awesome thing @EP_RPU_South @SgtColinShead @chelmsdio
