Turns out waking up to notifications, emails, and blue light isn’t quite as regulating as waking up to mountains, sunshine, and actual fresh air. 🌲☀️
My brain knows the difference.
Thank you @lisarachelsnyder for the step by step guide 😋🌲
How to co-regulate with a tree 💚
Find a tree that speaks to you and approach it with reverence.
Connect with it. You can go in for a hug or sit with your back against its trunk. Make contact with the bark.
Take a breath and feel the strength behind you. This amazing being has been rooted in the same place for decades, maybe centuries. It is safe.
Just breathe. Let your nervous system feel what it’s like to be held by something ancient and completely unmoved by whatever else is happening in your life.
Trees know love.
They communicate through their root systems, sharing nutrients, sending warnings, keeping each other alive.
When you sit with a tree you’re sitting with an intelligence that has been practicing presence longer than humans even existed.
A tree is one with the natural order of things.
When you let it, it reminds you that you are too. 🌲
It’s not a competition, but we love inspiring each other to live a more sustainable, balanced, and holistically healthy life! Thanks for the laughs @diariesofacrunchymom 🙏🏽
Crunchy mom gets silently shown up. 🫢
@modernnursery is one of the crunchiest moms I know, so crunchy she not only mills her own flour and feeds her babies sardines, AND she owns her own nontoxic baby gear company. 👶🏼
If you wanna know the true way to be crunchy, like what nontoxic baby mattress is actually nontoxic and not made of plastic and full of chemicals linked to cancer, she’s the one to go to for advice! 🧠

Let Mother Nature Mother 🌲🌿
We could all use a heavy dose of nature right now.
🌞 Morning sun: Syncs our circadian rhythms so we sleep better at night. It improves our energy as it directly powers our mitochondria which are responsible for our energy levels. Morning sun is also essential for creating vitamin D as well as boosting dopamine and serotonin.
🕊️Birdsongs: Studies have found that within 6 minutes of listening to bird songs, anxiety and paranoia were significantly reduced. Another study found that nature sounds facilitated recovery from sympathetic activation after psychological stress.
🗻Nature views: Studies have shown nature views with greenery helps patients tolerate pain, decrease heart rate, overcome adverse effects, and have lower length of stay at the hospital.
🌲Forest air: Studies have shown that a walk in the forest can decrease stress hormones such as cortisol, decreases proteins involved in inflammation, increase relaxation, and increase NK cell activity. A new study showed that a 1 hour walk in nature decreases amygdala activity following the walk and can have salutogenic effects on brain regions related to stress.
👩🏻🌾 A bacteria in the soil called Mycobacterium vaccae has been shown through studies to increase higher levels of serotonin production. This study was named one of the top 10 advancements in mental health research in 2016. This study has opened doors for further research on how this bacteria could potentially decrease inflammation in the brain and support mental health conditions.
🦶🏽Walking barefoot outside reduces pain and inflammation and has also been shown to support the immune system, sleep and anxiety.
Do you notice any of these transforming how you feel? Which is your favorite?

Health is about bringing as much electricity into the body as possible. You do this by breathing, grounding, sungazing, drinking structured water and moving (piezoelectricity). ⚡️
Do you feel charged? 🌎🌍🌏
Happy World Meditation Day 💧🪨
Meditation does not always have to happen within four walls and silence. Sometimes it looks like sitting beside a rushing river, feeling the cool air on your skin, listening to birdsong, and remembering that you are part of nature—not separate from it.
The Earth has a way of quieting the noise we carry. The nervous system softens. The mind slows. The body remembers how to simply be.
Go sit with the trees. Step into the water. Find a rock in the sun. Let nature hold you for a while. 🌿

Words of wisdom in navigating nature reconnection via @eva__exploring. 🌱
There’s a lot more to say on this topic, and a a lot more we can all be doing to combat it but for now we’ll leave it at this- I’d love to hear the ways in which you challenge the disconnect 🦋🌲🌞🍂

There’s something different about knowing exactly where your food comes from. 🥚🌿🐓
Stepping outside, gathering it yourself, and being part of the whole process just hits deeper. Slower mornings, fresh air, and a connection you don’t get from a store. 🌞🍃
It’s simple, but it changes everything.
Eye opening reel via @nurturedbymelina on the difference between Earth provided, and man-made. 😟
If you feel like something is happening to our food, it’s because it is.
This is energetic warfare. Capitalizing on being disconnected from our bodies and exploiting the Earth that gives us life.
This is why I preach natural foods. A calorie is not just a calorie, it’s deeper than that.
There has never been a better time to :
-Begin living a more natural lifestyle
-Start networking with your local farmers
-Push towards co-ops & community markets
-Detox the dark energy that’s being fed to us
-Protect your energy and strengthen your cells
It is no wonder so many are feeling unwell. They have sucked the life out of everything they’ve touched, and made their wealth on greed rather than gratitude.
Protect yourself 🙏🏽 your energy is precious, valuable, needed, and worth something.
Now is the time to return to our natural world. I believe in your wellness. I believe in your vital return. 🌎
Thank you @feelmoregooder for the reminder- there is no replacing the sun, and how are we still taught to avoid it, even try to replace it?!
Studies like this all to try and convince us that the sun (which all life forms on earth have evolved with for millennia) is bad. 🌞
The sun 100% of the time, forever - has offered a full spectrum that isolated-wavelength lamps could never replicate in its full complexity.
You can’t just pick a wavelength, blast it in a setting that would never occur in the natural world (never mind your eyelids would naturally adjust as well as the rest of the physiology of your eye + brain) - and then call it a scientific discovery. The aim was clearly to villainize the sun. Just… maddening. Truly insane.
Not to even mention how sunlight in quantized 🌀
Lab coats trying to replicate the intelligence and complexity of nature is a head scratcher.
Go outside. No human is exempt.🌞
Eye opening reel from @justinecellularnutrition. ☀️ Do you have sun spots? It all comes back the the mitochondria. Learn how to support them, and your life will be much better. 🥰🦠
Thank you @annajeanklein for this info- it makes so much sense why we’re drawn to green scapes in nature! 🌲
It’s science 🧪 and biologically irresistible.
Our eyes have extra M-cones, photoreceptors tuned specifically to green light.
That’s why the trees, moss, ferns, and shifting forest light feel like an insatiable feast for your eyes.
So when people say the PNW is magical…
it’s really your biology falling under its spell. 🧚🏻✨
