Fantastic day reflecting on the undertaking of this mammoth task. Incredible to see when the art of the impossible becomes possible, great people create great things #teamWAST
Today I was delighted to personally thank those from #TeamWAST who successfully delivered what at times felt like the impossible. In less than six months the team scoped, procured, trained and delivered new call handling and clinical decision support software for the @NHS111Wales service. A proud Chief. Thank you everyone.
Some days are more than a challenge and I may jest and think other career pathways would of been easier, however once a nurse always a nurse. I am just as proud today as the day I qualified to be part of this amazing profession, for me this was and is my vocation. Happy #IND24
Rhiannon become a nurse in 2006, with a background in medical admissions and cardiology. She became a nurse advisor for NHS Direct Wales and has taken on many different roles. She was involved in designing and implementing the new system used within NHS 111 Wales. #IND2024

The @NHS111Wales service is dealing with many calls related to children. https://t.co/k9M4FNmBKH is a good place to start if you are concerned about #StrepA.
Took the train to North Wales today and visited #TeamWAST colleagues in our clinical contact centre here. Good to hear about how things like the new UK wide 999 call intelligent routing platform are working for our people.
