She let out a scream as the spell went up in smoke, before she started to cough like crazy. "Sophia! Are you trying to get us both killed? You are the worse sometimes" She shakes her head laughing softly.

when she turned to look at him again, he was no longer there. she looked away and began to climb the stairs, sneaking inside, trying to avoid being seen.

she stopped walking, her heart skipping a beat as soon as she heard laughter nearby. “i can’t be that unlucky...” she whispered to herself. while they could be vampires, they might just be ordinary people — it was fine. she kept walking, avoiding eye contact.
