We may not have much control on what happens to us but we can control what happens through us. Let us consciously do those little things that can positively impact our society. God bless us all!
@Adebayoadesanya Most people won't use it, sure. But for Nigerians over there with unique circumstances who may need it, having the option matters. Choice is never a bad thing.
The constitution states:
"...the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government."
Government across all levels need to own this and grow some balls to tackle insecurity. It is a mess.
@Kindwale101@Usmanashafe How is the road from Kwara to Ekiti smooth?
From either Omu-Aran or Iloffa through Aiyedun towards Otun is not smooth at all. Ilale or even Aran-Orin route towards Ila in Osun is nothing to write home about.
Once you get to Kwara, the road does the announcement
@Abubakrsmit06ix@imakun122 Yes, Oko is in Kwara State! It’s located in the Irepodun LGA, just about a 6km drive from Omu-Aran. It’s also home to Thomas Adewumi University (TAU).
@omoluabi1sq A Clear Desk Policy measures compliance, not competence. A leader with a clean desk can still have a chaotic digital workflow. The true mark of incompetence isn't a messy table, it’s the failure to implement digital systems that make physical tables obsolete.
@DanielRegha There is no limit on electronic payment
The limit here is on cash withdrawal. With the adoption of cashless policy, how many people would still need 500k cash in a week ?
@akintollgate It doesn't matter if you own 100 iPhones; lithium-ion batteries are chemical energy storage units. Manufacturing defects, power surges, or 'thermal runaway' can cause fire. Invalidating someone’s experience just because it hasn't happened to you is just ignoring basic physics.
@liveking_1@MahmudRibadu Unpopular opinion: A thief isn't a victim of their circumstances; they are a victim of their own choices. Plenty of people struggle without compromising their integrity. Let's stop justifying crime by blaming the economy . Character is revealed in hardship, not excused by it.
@Nig_Farmer It is sad how things have degenerated. I worked in Zamfara, Kastina and Kano between 2011 and 2013. I was always on the road. I enjoyed the Suya at Funtua bypass each time I visit my team there. Drove from Gusau to Ilorin a few times. Can't try this again now cos it isn't safe.
@TaxHours Do you really think Nigerians will complain about tax if they have access to a robust health care system or they feel safe to conduct their businesses without the fear of being kidnapped for ransome?
Citizens get good benefits on tax paid in better climes. Is it the same here?
@abbkar_ai Our politicians have studied us well. They know we have short memory and we don't study history. Whatever bad they do today will be whitewashed tomorrow. The way people have been projecting failed leaders as saints is worrisome.
We need to hold them accountable for their acts.
