@christianreber 100% agree on 3οΈβ£, break up huge landlords & pass the Mietendeckel β
But I'm doubting how removing social safety nets aids everyone's prosperity. Without it, many are fucked after layoffs, recessions, etc. -- and it'd come cheap if we taxed corporations (potential point π?)
Super excited to share the news! A couple months ago, @ahmed_sulajman and I started on the journey towards empowering designers to more directly contribute to the product. Sign up for the mailing list at https://t.co/iW1CXl4rqA
I got sterilized yesterday π #reproductivehealth#bodilyautonomy
I wish a solid % of the reason wasn't "to get better treatment options for chronic pain", but the what-if-a-future-husband-wants-kids argument from doctors to NOT operate got exhausting...
Day 1 of post-layoff unemployment. I discovered our bathroom windowsill tiles are a bit loose. One came off with just a gentle tap.
Itβs good I like laying tiles.
While I have your attention, consider sharing this list of folks laid off this week (including myself) with your recruiters & tech pals:

I booked a 1:1 coffee chat with @christianreber twice. Both times, it was to talk about high-level topics. Both times, the chat got canceled. Both times, 1-2 months after, there were layoffs.
Iβll do my part in saving @Pitch from certain doom by not booking a third time. π
Megan delivered the smoothest, best-researched, thought-out, and problem-free animations & slide transitions experience I could've dreamed of for Pitch. π Get in touch while she's available, cos it won't be long!!
Together with 72 others, I got let go from @pitch today. It's been wonderful working with such talented folks and I'm proud of what we built together. If you're looking for someone who works well in the intersection of product + engineering, DM me π https://t.co/98FDNNepDL
Axel is not only an amazing product designer, a super-creative person, a fellow cult member of cat gifs, and a molecular chef, but also a certified Great Dudeβ’οΈ who will add lots of positivity, solutions, and asking-of-the-right-questions to any team.
@mateuszsiek91 had a periodical slide in our remote all-hands dedicated to his explorations of random parts of the product & deep dives into possibilities. Always a treat reading those, and so much good came of it, too!
Just got let go from @Pitch today. It was a really fun 4 years!
I'm a bit sad but also quite excited for some time off to work on some fun side projects π
@nikitin891 made one of the best videos I've ever seen for our Pitch 2.0 launch. He produced my webinar. If you need anything related to product video, he's your dude. π₯
So, I got laid off today, along with 72 others from @pitch. It was amazing working with such an amazing group of people for 2 years. We achieved a lot together. Here's the video I made to highlight all the cool stuff we did in 2023 with my talented colleagues π½οΈ
My amazing former colleagues are looking for work post-layoffs. @Pitch lost a lot of amazing talent yesterday, so grab them while they're available! π

@Smartster@mishakarpenko@Pitch I appreciate your perspective. I personally didn't take it that way, as Misha was a great colleague, always had fun chats with him, and his reply made me smile. π
