@DavidSacks It works as marketing hype too. “This model is so powerful it could destroy everything we know and love!” 4 weeks later: “try it out for yourself, half price model usage all week.”
@Rafa_Mangual@SwipeWright@GBNEWS I think the errors were fuelled by bias in favour of Digwa, but that's not what is outraging people. People are outraged at the idea the police let him bleed out because he was white. That didn't happen. They didn't believe him because it was not obvious he'd been stabbed.
@Rafa_Mangual@SwipeWright@GBNEWS They were arresting him for assault. In their minds he'd assaulted Digwa. Digwa's brother had made the 999 call and that's what the police would have believed going in.
@Rafa_Mangual@SwipeWright@GBNEWS I guess I'm trying to not ascribe to malice what can be ascribed to incompetence. I don't think the police officers were wilfully evil in this case. They made an egregious error based on proven patterns of bias in favour of immigrants.
@Rafa_Mangual@SwipeWright@GBNEWS I'm not a cop, but I imagine that when you're arresting people they say all kinds of nonsense all the time. "I can't breathe" is something they all say. I think they looked for stab wounds, couldn't see anything, and thought he was lying to get out of being arrested.
@Rafa_Mangual@SwipeWright@GBNEWS You could have just said, "No, I can't." But that doesn't feed the outrage machine. The police badly misread this situation and were no doubt racially biased against this kid. But from their perspective, it did NOT look like he'd been stabbed.
@Huski2743Rule@Cernovich@MattWalshBlog There are two options why the policeman said "I don't think you have, mate" when Henry said he'd been stabbed. 1. The officer is pure evil and doesn't care. Or 2. The stab wound was invisible, and he didn't see any blood. The video proves the latter.
@Grarthnar@Cernovich@MattWalshBlog Kinda funny, mostly irrelevant. Tell me, can you see in the video why the police officers may not have believed that he’d been stabbed.
@erharuspex@MrAndyNgo@HantsPolice Because people being arrested say crap like that all day every day. Every single person being arrested says “I can’t breathe”.
@shanecrump11@MattWalshBlog He’s been sentenced to life in prison and the mum will get time too. The cops made a serious error but tell me, can you see where the young guy has been stabbed in the video?
@MattWalshBlog@loganclarkhall How can you watch this video and see that? It wasn’t clear that he’d been stabbed. There may well be bias in the police but this is not an example of it
