@maltiq Until the root causes of poverty and injustice are sufficiently addressed by the government, insurgency will persist. Treat the causes, not the symptoms.
When Trump leaves office:
The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department.
The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center.
The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico.
The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom.
Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired.
The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president.
Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference.
The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies.
The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists.
Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it.
The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters.
U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators.
And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.
I’ll never understand how America went from Barack Obama to Donald Trump.
From dignity, empathy, and competence
to grievance, cruelty, and chaos.
It wasn’t an accident.
It was backlash.
Backlash to having a smart, principled, wildly popular Black president who proved this country could be better.
And some people couldn’t stand it.
NEW: Maura Healey just said what Washington’s been dodging:
Kristi Noem needs to go.
Trump needs to end these ICE operations.
And Congress needs to hold them accountable.
That’s a governor drawing a line and daring the federal government to cross it again.
Trillions are quietly leaving the U.S. economy, and most Americans have not noticed yet.
While Washington is fighting yesterday’s battles, the world is signing new trade routes, new defense deals, and new alliances designed to work without America. Supply chains move. Trust breaks. And once that happens, it does not come back on a campaign slogan.
“I won’t be coming to America until Trump is gone” is no longer a meme. It is showing up in tourism, boycotts, and even World Cup chatter.
This is the real cost of MAGA, and it is starting to look irreversible.
@FoodProfessor All that will change after Nov 2026. Meanwhile, Canada has to do what it has to do to survive. How can it pander to Trump’s wishes when what he ultimately wants is to make Canada its 51st state?
Christian nationalist pastor Dale Partridge calls for repealing the 19th Amendment:
“Nearly every legalized moral atrocity of the last 100 years was made possible by the female vote.”
