Can you spot the irony in this picture? While managing a lot of expectations this week and cleaning out my classroom while our school is under construction, one seemingly insignificant sign reminded me to keep my perspective in check. It’s the little things.

When you get ahold of that student you haven’t heard from and get to see their smile, connect with them, and know they are safe and healthy. It’s not about work completion, it’s about connection.

@WeAreTeachers Digital thermometers and shop lights for labs involving thermal energy and convection, radiation, and conduction! Google cardboard VR sets would be next on the list to help build background knowledge and allow students to visualize processes they aren't typically able to!
