@ChrisZukoArt Ya I've been watching those posts and it's pretty interesting. I wanted to build an auto tangent system for my game but I'll just use the built-in shapes for now since it's a bit daunting for me. I'm not very experienced in Niagara but it's pretty neat that it can do this stuff!
@ChrisZukoArt Haha OBS is the universal photo mode. Will be great when you add the visual toolkit to the sandbox. I'll procrastinate heavily by making music videos :D
@syncretizm@tana_inc Kind of the same for me, as I have different kinds of work every day, I'm trying to use time blocks as containers for related tasks. I'm a visual person so I'd like a dedicated time blocking tool. Would be wonderful to have a calendar view in Tana, I hope soon.
# Task has fields like Priority, Do date, Due date, Reminder date, and also inherits # Status (the same as # Project) : Maybe / ToDo / Doing / Done / Freeze. Which gives me consistancy and extensibility in my project management workflow.
By doing so, this project will inherit the fields that I need for this specific project. A # Project has fields like 'parent project', 'start and end date', 'project folder'... and will also inherit # Status, # Tasks, # Timeline, which have their own fields.
@AnthonyBaker@EleanorKonik@calhistorian@tana_inc How do you get into the Slack ? I've been trying for a couple of days and I keep having this message : "It looks like there isn’t an account on Tana Community tied to this email address." I only use Slack for work and I'm not very good at it.
@RobertHaisfield For me, what's missing in outliners is a "sticky hierarchy", where the parent bullet stays displayed on top when we scrolled past it. This way we always know in what hierarchy we are in.
@syncretizm@tana_inc Sweet! Will definitely do :) requested today let's hope it won't be too long. Eager to port my Obsidian structure to Tana and polish it even further. Many thanks!
@syncretizm@tana_inc Yeah it's a pretty impressive alpha, no wonder so many people are excited. They nailed the outliner + database aspect and a lot of us wished for a unified workflow, me included. Seems like it will be exciting to use this app and see it grow!
@syncretizm@tana_inc That's great to hear. I hope they push on the project management tooling, for me that's what's lacking in PKM softwares. There's no public roadmap right? Thank you for your help!
@syncretizm Yeah I saw the date attribute but I'm interested in a visual representation of time, which helps me planning projects. @tana_inc doesn't have a roadmap or a way to know where they're heading?
